River II has already had more success than her predecessor - she's not dead!

Not only that, she managed two successful passes in her opening game, awarding her MVP. With this recognition in hand, River II has been training her throwing arm, long and hard.

River II has put her strong arm to good use against local Dark Elf team Oncoming Storm. Two successful passes, one of which was a touchdown scoring short pass to Catcher Kaylee, marking her first touchdown for the squad. Go team!

Two more solid passes against Oncoming Storm have secured River II as a Thrower who is most reliable. The Coach, realising how crippling it would be to lose River II, has purchased a new Thrower, Jubal Early, in the hope that River II can impart her wisdom while she is still breathing.

Mal is leading the squad like a true captain should. In the teams opening game, against the infamous Chaos Penumbral Void squad, he not only achieved a touchdown but managed to put Tumult, an experienced Beastman who is quick on his hooves, on the badly hurt bench.

Great things are expected from this man.

Mal finally capitalized on his initial performance, scoring a touchdown against rising Dark Elf team Oncoming Storm. Mal has learnt that the squad is having difficulty against the more lithe opponents, and has taken it upon himself to take down these dodgers.

Mal put his tackling skills to good use against the Witch Elf Emily of the Oncoming Storm team, while also managing to score a touchdown. Despite Jayne's quick rise in skill and the new bloodthirsty Simon II, Mal is still showing why he's Captain.

Inara proved her superiority to partnered Catcher Kaylee, through a touchdown in the end of the 1st half against the Penumbral Void Chaos squad. After the match, during the full squad beauty contest, she also proved victorious over Kaylee (though lost first place to Jayne, the man they call...Jayne).

Kaylee will have to show she can do something to keep up with the powerhouse that is Inara.

In an unexpected act of brutality, Inara killed Penumbral Void's Beastman linesman Clutter during a head on collision. Inara was knocked prone, shook her head, and got back up. Clutter didn't...

Inara showed why she is Head Catcher, securing a touchdown against the grabbing and aggressive Gundpowder Lads.

Having earned MVP against Oncoming Storm, and passed on her wisdom of stripping balls to Kaylee, Inara has begun to learn from several of the Blitzers on the squad. She now believes she has a fairly good idea of how to throw a good block...

Kaylee brought great shame to the Flyers of Fire in their most recent game against Penumbral Void. At the opening of the second half, she failed to pick up the ball in open ground, despite the coach's attempts at pitch side advice.

With the amazing skill of Inara, Kaylee will need to pick up her game, or pack her bags.

Kaylee finally took heed of the warning given her by the squad's coach. After Inara suffered an uncharacteristic trip, it was Kaylee with a pass from River II who managed to secure the touchdown.

She still has some way before being recognised fully though...

Kaylee repeated her success against Ongoing Storm in her second game against these Dark Elf foes. Kaylee secured another touchdown, but now has achieved the wisdom her fellow Catcher Inara has shown, and has realised that without a strong defence their touchdowns are meaningless.

Kaylee had to put her defensive techniques into tough practice against the Dwarven side The Gunpowder Lads. Thanks to her tenacity and bravery, she was awarded her first MVP.

Zoe proved her ruthless side by fracturing the leg of Skink Ix, when he attempted to slip by her to grab the ball. A scary woman indeed. This raw act of brutality earned her the fear of her opponents...and an MVP!

Zoe badly hurt Dark Elf Linesman John after he charged towards her. Knowing how to deal with such a clumsy block, Zoe quickly took him out for the entire of the 2nd half. A terrifying woman indeed.

Wash was awarded the MVP against the Dark Elf Oncoming Storm team. He helped maintain a solid LOS, and reliability is key!

Wash showed his able to do more than simply be hit by enemy Blockers and Linesmen, scoring a touchdown against the tenacious Gundpowder Lads. Wash has now developed almost elf-like agility, proving a great asset in ball handling.

Wash showed his elven side once more against the Gunpowder Lads, badly hurting Durin as the bull headed Dwarf charged in for a block. Do not underestimate Wash...

Simon II is the younger brother of River II. After River II arrived on the team and achieved such a good job as team Thrower, she recommended her younger brother to the Coach. The Coach was initially sceptic after the previous sibling Simon's performance; but this new Simon II showed far greater speed and blocking skill, and so was signed up.

Simon II has shown great promise, smashing the hand of Dark Elf team Oncoming Storm's Witch Elf Emily. It was only a timely intervention from the Oncoming Storm's Apothecary that stopped the injury from plaguing Emily for the entirety of her career. Simon II's fury did not stop here, he badly hurt Dark Elf Linesman Isaac, taking him out of the entire of the second half against Oncoming Storm. This man is a machine! But it did not stop there, Simon II applied his inner rage and fractured the leg of Dark Elf Blitzer Callum, taking him out of the game and giving him an injury he will never forget. Is this Sigmar re-born?!

After Simon II's terrifying opening game, the Coach was worried about possible Khorne affiliations. In order to satisfy the worried team mates, he has trained Simon II in the ways of dodging, hoping this will quell his blood lust.

Simon II showed the flexibility of his game, scoring an equalising TD against the Gunpowder Lads, showing that his dodge training has been put to good use. Simon II's touch downing skills continued, with the winning touchdown late in the second half of the game, after repeatedly bulldozing through the Dwarven Runners.

Badger was awarded a rather battered MVP. Along with Mr Universe and Safron, Badger formed the LOS for every play the Flyers of Fire attempted. This important sacrificial role, allowed the two touchdowns which won the match, and as Badger was the only uninjured player after the game, it seemed he was the natural choice.

Badger showed his flexibility against a visiting Lizardman team, securing a completed pass. This earned him the right to train with the squad's Blitzers, who have shown him a trick or two...

Safron had a painful first game; having focused the entire time on holding up the Chaos Warriors of the Penumbral Void team, Safron was badly hurt by Anarchy in the second half of the match.

She is none the worse for ware, and seems to almost...enjoy it?!

Safron developed her masochism into sadism, managing to smash the hand of Skink player Camazotz of the Texacotl Terrors, while performing a key blitz manoeuvre.

Safron can now add Dwarf blood to her list of conquests, badly hurting Durin of the Gunpowder Lads.

Mr Universe had an unimpressive first game against the Penumbral Void. During the opening turn of the second half, he attempted to block Fear, a Beastman, only to have himself badly hurt.
