A wild man from Nordland, Wolf 'the Barbarian' is a deadly brawler. Honed to fight in the unforgiving alehouses and taverns of his adopted province and far off Norsca (from where he grew up). Rumour has is Wolf is of Kurgan blood, and it wouldn't be a great stretch to believe either, with his dark penetrating eyes and shaggy mane of tangled mahogany hair. Joined the team with older brother Jörn Barbarisch, the coach saw great potential in the verbose, intimidating duo. After his brother's bitter retirement he now fights on alone.

Developing both his brawling technique and broad physique Wolf is now one of the most experienced and valued member of the team, breaking into the top 10 all time CMVP after a spate of excellent performances.

Wolf has been on excellent form, currently holding 6th place in the all time Bengal CMVP rankings. With the unfortunate death of team captain Eckhart Kondor, Herr Barbarisch was named the 14th team captain of the Bayernhoff Bengals. With his experience and thrusting persona, coach has trust he will lead the team to many future victories.


Game 319: Parted ways with his beloved older brother Jörn Barbarisch when the same took a crushing blow to his back, forever weakening him. Disillusioned the elder Barbarisch turned away from false mercenary world of professional Blood Bowl to go adventuring in the Grey Mountains. Wolf has not heard from him since.

Game 337: Coach MVP vs Secret side of the Moon - Had a brilliant start to the game, changing it significantly by taking out the opponent's legendary werewolf killer. Spent much of the rest of the game in the KO box, but a lack of standout performances from the rest of the team bagged Wolf the CMVP.

Game 346: Coach MVP vs Philosophical Phootball - The dastardly chaos opponent spiked Wolf's pre-game formula with what could only be described by the inquest afterwards as 'witch's brew'. Herr Barbarisch's constitution however meant the potent concoction didn't quite have the desired effect, instead turning the star blitzer into a raving psychopath. More so than usual. Dry humped a minotaur into submission, injured a beastman duo and cracked a few more skulls besides. Rooaarggh.
