Hailing directly from the Citadel’s central sewer, Voramute Squeak is a rat of the highest society. The largest son of the Squelich Squeak IX, Voramute could have enjoyed a political career. However, he threw it all away in the dice game of life and took up Blood Bowl. After achieving success in the Saroux Amateur League he was spotted by Ratatat's Dwarf Coach Anzelak Stonefist getting his unarmoured face stoved in by a toothless Norse runner.

Dispatching the Norse yob with a tomahawk to the head, Stonefist offered the rat his hand and a bag of coins to join his new team. He tells the PR machine that ‘Vora is the fastest gutter runner I've ever seen', and is ‘of average ability – much better than I normally expect of vermin'.

Very much a high society rat, Lashiite is the largest son of Kelochit, an Alderman of the Sarouxian Council of Thirteen Rats. His purple lobster armour and matching helm may look fancy, and it goes nicely with his finely crafted gloves and outfit, but it is unlikely to stand up to any opponent serious enough about blocking him. He'll have to hope he can get his skates on and dodge any serious players.

Known for his blue fur, which is likely caused by ingesting a little too much arcane powder, Urdish the 19th is billed as the rising star of Ratatat Rapide. He’ll probably disappoint. He has Blood Bowl coursing through his veins. A distance cousin allegedly made it big over in Kaldoria but Urdish is shamefully shifty with the particulars. He’s lightning quick and appears to have enough pitch sense about him to survive a couple of games – so long as the rats don’t meet any dwarfs or black orcs.

Storm Vermin are particularly strong rats and will sometimes be of slightly higher social rank than their weaker team mates. This is not the case with Colonel Krenshar, who is as common as the average sewer rat. Hailing from Freeport, the uncontrollable pirate metropolis on Saroux’s east coast, the Colonel is a notoriously violent rat. He will often be seen throwing blitzes and punching holes through surprised defensive lines.

30th March 2012: Gains the +1 strength skill up after a 3-3 draw with Charlatan Rathletic.

Something of an enigma: Sergeant Squaffy is a mute. Many rats will chitter as they run and dart around the Blood Bowl pitch, but Squaffy is the silent type. This makes him unnerving (unless, you know, you’re a troll or a Black Orc). He’s also known for being first at the tavern after the game and for eating more cheese than the rest of the team combined. Often, in friendlies, his poor performance was put down to the sheer amount of fromage he’d chowed down just before the game.

March 27th 2012: Achieves the team's first kill against HoloNorsed vs. Pete Sick (a Berserker). Killed apo killed. Then went on to get the winning touchdown with a clutch move in the late game. A truly remarkable personal performance.

Holding the unofficial ‘Chieftain of the Rabble’ title, the #8 jersey will often be found on the line of scrimmage. Generally, the most expendable three rats line up here. Contrary to popular Skaven tactical theory, Jakob will normally decide to lead from the front despite his de facto leader badge. This often means going toe to toe with much bigger and much more dangerous opponents. When questioned: 'How are you going to stand up to the bashier Blood Bowl teams?' Jakob smirks, bares his crooked teeth and says, ‘I'll just bite them in the b*******.’

Like most linerats, Artemis Bitey is one of the riff raff. There are hundreds like him. Nevertheless, Arty refuses to accept this. He is known for turning up to training and post-game drinking sessions in a raggedy top hat and cracked cane, and putting on a ‘city accent’. Recruited by Stonefist for his particularly violent nature and high pain threshold, the coach was reportedly astonished when Artemis was still standing after being hit in the face with a war mace no less three times at an “induction”.

Charlie Chokes died in Ratatat Rapide's first game for looking like El Fazimao. But this guy right here is the real deal (maybe). El Fazimao is a notorious assassin wanted for murdering the son of a nobleman. Stonefist was arrested by Silvercoat men of the King which led to a Dwarfen attaché petitioning for his release. Perhaps the rat is a very good Blood Bowl player, perhaps Stonefist was drunk, or perhaps he just wanted to stick it to the nobleman in question – but there must have been a reason for Stonefist to put up a fight for this lowly linerat. Let's hope he lasts longer than the poor doppelganger Charlie Chokes.

Captain Expendable met his end in the second game against HoloNorse holding the line of scrimmage against a stronger player. He was replaced by Skarloey, a young and rash sewer rat. Stonefist reportedly hired the player for his passing skills, as he is reportedly looking for a thrower to sit deep, but Zorgut must have blagged his way onto the team because he has shown no ball handling skills.
