After years of drinking and gambling in the northern fortress of Ghrond, one day Mytrek loses a bet against a shaggy looking older elf. The man with a face full of beard (unusual in elves, facial hair is normally the preserve of those dirty dwarves) has just bet that Mytrek could catch a ball thrown at him after several Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters. Mytrek, never having any faith in himself, bet he couldn't and so was now rather surprised to find himself holding the pigskin ball.

The old man, stepped forward to claim his winnings, which on this occasion happened to be Mytrek himself signing up for the infamous Black Plagueship bloodbowl team. What had Mytrek got himself into?

Game 1 - Mytrek begins to show some real promise with a completion and then finds him self in the right place at the right time as a missed pass lands between him and the endzone. Great start!

Game 4 - Mytrek's formidable power comes to the fore as he increases his strength in his first skill up. Absolutely nothing to do with those drugs that Trxxl has been supplying him with.

Game 22 - Mytrek is now a fully blodging lineman, and in his 22nd game, the team's first round XFL game, Mytrek is surrounded by elves, but that can't stop Mytrek who speedbumps his way to a touchdown his seventh for the team.

Yorick was called up from the minors for the first round of the Dark Elf XFL, after a particularly brutally entertaining game for the Plague against Yun Zis Absolute Wahrheiten (4-4 including insane last minute equalizing TD). In which they suffered three BH, three SIs and a death, leaving them needing four journeymen for their XFL debut.

Yorick's debut was marked by causing a casualty to a blodging blitzer and coach Tremendous offered him a permanent contract after the game.

Game 33 - Ereinion's unique skills finally paid off. In the first round of the DE XFL, Ereinion moved three squares, thanks to Pass Block as the opposing runner looked to pass to his team mate, getting infront of his man, he attempted an interception - using his Nerves of Steel to cancel the tacklezone to make it a 5+ and then rerolled the attempt using his catch skill to succeed and streak away for the third touchdown in the game.

Disgraced, discharged and exiled from the rank and file for killing a superior, Fezuk was bought by an agent of Prince Rhaeghal at a slave market in Axlotl, located in the far South of Lustria.

His warrior build when he fought in the Elven Wars had been honed into an athletic one in the jungles of Lustria, until one native kill too many had ended his free days.

He had served under several of the big houses, but his hostile temperament had ensured that his servitude with each family had been brief and tempestuous. When the grizzled old elf, had first seen him, several moon-cycles ago, he had made a point of ensuring that if he was ever sold, this lean, hostile, potential bloodbowl star would be bought by the Plague owner, Prince Rhaeghal.

Now he was being introduced to the team, maybe finally the Plague had a player to replace so far irreplaceable Findecáno Sîrfalas.

Born into a poverty stricken family on the edges of the Chaos Wastes, Hybris had spent her whole life fighting to survive whether from the bitter cold of the far North, or against the monsters that spawned and marauded South look for weak souls and corrupt hearts to bend to their will.

One night in the local tavern, a brawl kicks off with Hybris' father at the centre of things. His slender daughter watches on as her father is given some rough treatment from a group of drunk elves. When one of the assailants slips his blade between her father's shoulder blades, Hybris descends into a frenzy, she blacks out and when she finally regains her senses the bar is in pieces, and the three assailants are bleeding, dying, crying on the floor. Hybris is cuffed in her chair as a troupe of soldiers are taking statements from the others in the establishment.

Just as they are about to drag the azure haired girl out of the bar, a grizzled older elf whispers something into the ear of the captain, and drops a small bag into his hands. The captain nods, uncuffs the wisp of a girl, and pushes her roughly towards the old elf.

"If I see her face again, I won't be so charitable next time," says the captain as he drags his men off the laps of the various night elves dotted around the bar.

The grizzled elf takes Hybris by the arm and says, "Have you got anything left to live for here in the deserted wastes?"

Hybrs, still in a state of shock shakes her head.

"Good, follow me then."
