Captain Ginyu is the leader of Freeza's elite military group, the Ginyu Special Force, and an antagonist of the Namek Saga. He has the ability to switch bodies with an opponent. He is the strongest of the Ginyu Force (with a power level of 120 thousand), and until Son Goku's power level reached 180 thousand from his training in 100 times gravity, was the fourth strongest fighter in the universe after to Freeza, Cooler and their father King Cold. Because of his body switching ability, his original body is unknown.

Burter is one of the Ginyu Special Force who work for Frieza and an antagonist of the Namek Saga. He has blue skin and red eyes. He is the biggest of the Ginyu Force, and also the fastest, possessing incredible super speed that can make others look like they are moving in slow motion. He and Jeice often fight together.

Guldo is one of the Ginyu Force who work for Frieza and a minor but dangerous antagonist in the Namek Saga. He is small, froggish, and has four eyes. Unlike Recoome, Burter, Jeice, and Ginyu, Guldo has no scouter. He is the weakest of the Ginyu Force, but makes up for it with his ability to freeze time (for as long as he holds his breath) and his ability to use Mind Freeze to freeze anyone with his mind.

Jeice is one of the Ginyu Special Force who work for Frieza and an antagonist of the Namek Saga. He is the only one of average height, and had red skin, long white hair, and speaks with a Australian accent, and is best friend with his buddy Burter

~ Recoome to Son Gohan
Recoome is one of the Ginyu Special Force who work for Frieza and an antagonist in the Namek Saga. He is the biggest (and second tallest), with a humanoid appearance and red hair. He is often speculated to be the second strongest after to Captain Ginyu. Despite his seemingly goofy attitude, Recoome is actually quite intelligent, not to mention extremely sadistic.

Before working for Cooler, Doore was a former professional wrestler in the Galactic Pro Wrestling League. He was undefeated in 300 matches and killed all his opponents. He, along with the other members of the squadron, Salza and Neiz, were first seen, watching Freeza destroy Planet Vegeta alongside their master, Cooler.

He is Cooler's right hand man and leader of the Cooler's Armored Squadron, alongside Neiz and Doore. When Frieza is reborn he follows Frieza instead of Cooler, who does not appear. He is Brench from the Planet of the same name.

Neiz was first seen watching Frieza destroy the Saiyan planet, along with his cohorts, Salza and Doore.

Many years later, Neiz and the rest of the Armored Squadron accompanied their master to Earth so as to kill Goku for Frieza's destruction.

Dodoria is one of Freeza's henchmen, and his second strongest commander. He is pink, spiked, fat, and ugly.

Zarbon is Friza's right-hand man and highest ranking elite commander. In contrast to Dodoria, he is quite handsome, with blue skin, long green hair, and customized armor. He can transform into a stronger, yet extremely hideous form.

Cui is one of Frieza's henchmen, and his third strongest soldier, not counting the Ginyu Force or Abo and Kado. He is a purple skinned, fish-like alien who is shown to be Vegeta's rival for a time.
