Xug is a crazy savage who far prefers bashing in heads to surfing. However, he is very, very good at both. Unfortunately, he is also completely mad. It's not every day he gets into a frothing-at-the-mouth rage. No, it's far more often than that. For this reason he is Mental - though the other orcs insist this means he is boss-material and totally hard-core, and not at all unhinged and loony. Xug's aggressive antics were responsible for the community getting scouted by a passing Bloodbowl talent seeker and, when offered sponsorship and a team deal, Xug's response to his fellow orcs was to insist on only one thing.

XUG NUMBAAAH WON! WAAAAAAAGH!!!

The rest is history.

Mack Shura aka Big Shura had a large surfboard once. It was crafted for him by the orcs he'd allied with; a whole tree shaft cut into an incredibly large curved piece of wood. Along its face were a few precious stones he'd added to make it into a true treasure. Shura loved that thing. Deza-board he called it. Yes, he was terrible on it, his agility was poor and he could barely stay on for even the smallest waves, but he loved it.

Then Blackheart's ship dropped anchor in the cove nearby and, while he slept, the pirates raided his cave for possible loot. The result? Deza was long gone.

Shura has been in a grumpy rage ever since. While he's not the smartest creature (what troglodyte is?), he knows there is a chance he can get his board back if the team somehow end up playing against the pirates who took his board: Doom of Athelorn. Maybe they still have it?

Kogan is fast and furious. Young, daring and energetic, this orc loves action. Whether it's atop a wave, smashing fools into the crowd or jumping on his fellows during a party he has always favoured surfing since he was born. Outside of bloodbowl Kogan carries an intimidating axe. On the pitch he has to make do with his fists. He hopes to one day develop a chopping punch to use on other teams.

Nurbag is radical. Nurbag is beefy. Nurbag is the bravest, most daring and spec... impre... amaz... bestest orc there is. Nurbag can hit the wavez, hit the trees down to make the boardz for the wavez and he sure as anything can hit humiez and dorfz.

How come Cowabunga? This particular savage blocker has been known to yell it loudly upon any instance of violence or excitement. That is to say he says it a *lot*

Tog's another one of the boyz. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. His favourite three things in life are grog, lazing about on the sand and sending undead into the crowd so they can be ripped apart.

Tog is known for often commenting upon how awesome something is. He is hence called choka.

Yregh joined the crew after watching them show off on the waves for countless days. It's been a struggle since then to become one of the "boyz", but Yregh has been up to the challenge. Just as tough as her fellow orcs she is also just as furious on the pitch. Off it she is a bit of a flirt. Rumours about that she has a thing for Nurbag and hopes to get noticed by him. Of course the orc himself is oblivious to all of this.

Yregh will just have to try harder. MOAAAR SKULLBASH!

One of the best surfers on the team, Urlgan is not as good on the pitch. Still, he tries and his enthusiasm often spurs on the other orcs to really excel!

Pitgurat has been one of the boyz for a long, long time. None of the others can remember life before Pitgurat. He shares stories and teaches them things and for that he is respected by all the other orcs. Even Shura listens when Pitgurat talks.

He is somewhat dubious about their venture into bloodbowl, but he's been reading the rules and trying to get the other orcs to learn them. He's had mixed success so far.
