Yes, I had so many issues using a notebook that I gave up. It just wasn't worth it. FFB simply wasn't designed to be used on such small screens, which is fair enough. There are workarounds for some things, but they get pretty annoying.

insteed of the bottom i placed the toolbar on the right side of the screen and it workt fine for me, should work on every laptop if the screen isnt to small

right mouse button -> properties -> unfix taskbar -> and with drag and drop put it from the bottom to the side!

hope its understandable since, as you might read, i am not a english native speaker, also i dont know the correct wording of the english comands in windows -> me its a german windows user =D!

in windows 7, right clicking the taskbar opens a context menu with the option "lock the taskbar". By default it is clicked. Once unticked you can drag the taskbar to any side of the screen, and make it wider or narrower.

Alternatively you can go to the taskbar properties and use the "autohide taskbar" option. This i would recommend to any small screen user as an habit for any regular use, not only fumbbl.

I can drag the taskbar but then it gets in the way of the righside player picture, makes it hard to see what opponents skills are. :D

@Kalimar: Resolution is 1024x600.

Steps for a happy FFB Experiance with Netbooks (1024x600)
Since we all looking forward for the15th of January, some players love to play BloodBowl using their mobile Netbooks, but the new Client does not offer a Small Field, so the the client supports 1024x768 but our resolution is 1024x600.
The Program AsTray will kill 168 Lines and will user you display as a 1024X768 display, you have to hit Quick Switch and select 1024x768. When you start FFB now you have to hide you Taskbar. Now your netbook is ready for FFB.

Get AsTray just google "AsTray Netbook"

* get AsTray
* Quick Switch to 1024x768
* hide Taskbar
* start FFB

Some version of windows, when you unlock the taskbar it has a 'minimized' or 'hidden' option, where it only opens when you move your cursor to the bottom of the screen. That may be just what you need?
