Lip up isn't British as such, it was more localised. Used at Buster's school to mean 'shut up'. Similar to the more common 'button your lip'.

That was awesome. You are forgiven. I do like that the Singer and Suited harmonica player (to his left in the suit) are dancing together. Its almost as good as Morris Day & The Time. Actually no one is as good as Morris Day & The Time!!!!
