First tabletop tournament with a stunty team (and I did won the stunty cup - hurra)
This weekend I played my first tabletop tournament with a stunty team and what a joy!
I took part in White Isle Star Bowl II (with a funky rule set: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4994437/WISB%20II.pdf) and I some how ended up going with Goblins.
I was close to go with a sensible team with a +AG pogo and so on, but in the end I did end up with a crazy team (It did also get the title as this years most cheesiest).
2 Troll (with guard)
1 Pogoer (with block and sure hands)
1 Fanatic (with removed no hands, block, dodge, sure hands and stand firm)
1 Looney
9 Goblins
I did start out losing 2-1 to JockMcRowdy's vampires. He scored in 4-5 turns and I managed to score with the Fanatic in 4! But in the 2nd haf one troll did screw me up and the Vamps got the Fanatic down and the ball free and goodbye to the ball and the win.
Next game was against Ogres where the Pogoer on a 1D block got the ball free and in turn 8 he made I 1-0. In 2nd half the Fanatic got the ball and rather easy got up 2-0 and with a turn 16 ttm by the ogres it ended up 2-1.
3th game was against Phil78's Goblins (no 2 in the stunty cup) and after a crazy game where I did make my first ttm td it ended 2-2.
The menu Sunday morning for my green skins was some lovely Chaos Dwarfs coached by Kinks and sadly I lost 2-1 (the fanatic did score again) in a game that could have gone both ways and also ended up as a draw and again it was the troll's making problems for me.
5th game was another stunty match up against some Haflings. I did win the game 1-0 on a fanatic td and how the flings managed to not score I don't really know after I did get 8 cas) compared to his 3 (all stars, one troll and a hand full gobo's).
The last game was against Necromantic where the Fanatic in first half turn 8 scored with only him, the pogoer and a troll on the pitch - crazy stuff! 2th half the Necros scored and was pushing for the win, but the pogo'er had a chance to run free. Sadly he ended up with 1,1 on the 2th gfi and it scattered to one of the 3 squares where any players on the necro team could get it. The necros made 2+, 2+, 2+, 4+, 2+ with out any rr and the last chance for a 3th win was gone and I also missed my ttm, so the game ended with a 2-1 loss.
So after all 6 games I was 2-1-3 with 5 fanatic TD's and did win the stunty cup oO(Phil78 was also 2-1-3 but I had -1 in tds and he -3)
It is for sure not the last time i'm going to play stunty oO(even with out the super fanatic :D)

Always a pleasure to see you, erm, see you Saturday! :D It's an entertaining weekend, the Stunty Cup race.

He also really really liked the experience, but not sure how often his better half at home will let him go :/
The aim right now is getting a group going for the Waterbowl next year (the world cup makes it hard to get anything going before that).

Your gobbos were the highlight of the weekend, Food :D Your fanatic on his own scored nearly as many as some of the teams!
It was fun getting drunk and talking crap with you and Drink on the Saturday (before the Robo-Rally schooling :0 ;) )
