I truly appreciate what Christer, Angie and Peikko do. Sometimes they get it wrong, sometimes they get it right, but they are trying and doing the best they can.

I still think there needs to be a consistent set of guidelines put forth for conduct. This would take a lot of pressure off admins and coaches. Did Darkwolf really get banned for commenting on Malthor's mom just leaving his place? You can get banned for mom rip's now? I wasn't in chat when it happened, and I can only go by what I am told, but this seems to fit a pattern of random bannings. I have seen people say similar things about Emphasy's sister without banning. All I am asking for is consistency, and that is what is lacking. I wish I could give a soccer reference but I can't. I don't know the sport well enough. Let's try as basketball reference.

Imagine a referee that had one set of rules for certain players, another set of rules for a different group, and yet a third set of rules for a group that seemed to cause trouble. Who cares if it is a casual pick up league, wouldn't that ref lose credibility? That is what is happening on fumbbl. Like I said, I am sure I don't have all the facts about what happened with Darkwolf, but like I also said, I have seen this same sort of thing happen first hand. There needs to be a process or a set of guidelines for admins to follow and for users (the coaches) to see and understand. I will gladly offer assistance in writing or even write a set of guidelines for you to be looked at and modified. Don't bitch about a problem unless you are willing to be part of the solution.

Everyone hits a burnout point, and I hit mine over the past few weeks. To be honest, the point came at the time of the fourth cycle of the Stables. The blatant attempts to go outside the spirit of stables pretty much ruined stables for me. Stable was fun though aand SCUM is a cool stable and I would love to meet those guys in person. Not goodbye for good, just a break. I will still be around in PM's and once and a while in chat, but I just need a break from the less then fun coaches. It was going to be a permanent goodbye, but 2 great games vs. SeraphimRed (a gracious loser and great guy) and Ameranth (good luck against Nyberg) have left me feeling like I want to stick around a bit longer.
