WHFB: Ogre Kingdoms
I maintain Ogres can be a competitive army, I have been challenged to try and defeat one of the "top tier" armies in WHFB. I need to come up with a non specific list that has a good chance of beating High Elves, Lizards, Demon or Skaven.

I had fun and maintained a good record while I played Ogres. I found the MSU approach useful, as many butchers as possible with all the tricks for one dice fun in the magic phase, a single rhinox Standard bearer with the warbanner is nails against the right target, Yhettis are overpriced and generally not as useful as they should be, and gorgers are well worth the points. As to a list, 3,000 points is way more than we ever play, I'd not have a clue where to spend it all!

I'm not that into WHFB, but if Ogre's are as stupid as in bloodbowl, I'd opt for 1.000 points worth of Rerolls:D

...take the other 2 grand and try to lure a gobbo with Hail Mary Pass and a couple with Divine Catch. Elves - Lizards - Demons - Skaven... they will cower in fear.
