Part of the fun of perpetual leagues is that you can set goals outside of simply winning. The commissioner of my local blood bowl league wanted 6 block ogres. He got that done, and is now shooting for
six legendary Ogres. Something I have been working on for some time is to try and get 2 legend wardancers on the same team, at the same time.
I was surprised that it hadn't happened on fumbbl before, and after 68 games with my wood elves, it finally happened.
Clutch and
Jax are the first two legend wardancers on an individual team, surviving god knows how many blocks and fouls to get there. Sadly, neither made it in one piece, taking move breaks in back to back games.
I don't keep very many positionals with permanent injuries. Given that movement is probably the least bad stat loss, I will likely let them continue. Clutch is still
chasing Vindaloo, and Jax is probably worth the 280TV even with the movement break.
I'd like to thank all the coaches who played me along the way. It was a blast! Both men are marked for death, and I look forward to building their replacements over again.
BREAKING NEWS
After their first game together as legends, Clutch has been forced into retirement with a niggling injury. The legend ends his career as the third all-time greatest wardancer, scoring 25 touchdowns and an amazing 50 casualties, trailing only Vindaloo on the all-time list. Enjoy your retirement Clutch, you were a great one.
