[B] Opponents (for Skaven)
In the spirit of some recent blogs, here's a summary of the opponents faced by race for 4 Skaven teams. To get a reasonably large number of matches I've picked my own Paint it [B]lack (21 games), DukeTyrion's Mice in Black (19 games), Kazadrum's Mice out of the Blackbox (31 games), and the current top rated Skaven, smallman's small black skav (32 games).
Skaven, with their av7 ag3 no-dodge linerats, are a team some might expect to struggle in an overly bashy environment. So, what sort of opponents have these teams faced, and how are they getting on?

Khemri 9
Lizardmen 1
Necromantic 3
Norse 5
Nurgle 1
Ogre 2

Wood Elf 8
103 games in total.
All teams except small black skav have a winning record. Their TR/TS are currently 177 / 167, 162 / 173, 193/172, and 196/208.
Conclusion :
There's a lot of Chaos and Dwarf teams out there! Though, small black skav, from their 32 games, contribute 11 of the 18 dwarf games here, poor sods.
Nonetheless, generally I see no big problem with racial diversity, barring a sad lack of Lizard and Nurgle teams. There are plenty of elves and humies about, and while the number of dorfs is depressing, I'd expect that in time some at least of those dorf coaches will either get bored, or realise that you don't need av9 to survive in [B ], or both.
Basically though, all four teams seem to be thriving, casting some doubt on any idea that [B ] is an environment in which low armour races cannot prosper.

Well, from what i can see, i say poor dwarves, they dont have it easy... Look at the skaven team that has met most dwarfteams. Has the highest TR/TS and most of the games they have outbashed the dwarves.... Isn't it time to stop complaining about the dwarves and start hoping to meet them. They are slow enough for gutterrunners to run circles around them. Unlike most other basherteams, they lack the strength to get good use of BT making them even more stationary and finally their best player only has av 8 unlike most bashers, where the strongest (most expensive) players usually also have AV 9 (on their st 4).
So instead of focussing on bashing them, target their weak spots, and they will have a VERY hard time.
(For the record, yes i play dwarves, but looking at my humans i consider if i should stop playing such a weak team. 2/2/2 cas for, 4/0/0 against. The game where i smashed my dwarven opponents players i only got a draw, and the game where i focussed on winning, i won and still wasnt smashed...
So keep complaining about dwarves if you want, but if you're smart, just beat them, one way or the other, isnt that hard if you're a decent coach.
And remember to a DP there is no such thing as high AV and low AV, just DP target (prone) or not (standing).
Most people are aware that dwarves arent that good at high TR (200+), but my games with humans against dwarves prove that they arent that good at low TR/TS either (all depending on the coach ofcourse).

Well since there are so many Dorf teams, then dont go dodge :)
Take Block over Dodge. Take pro/DP/Tackle/SS over Dodge and just kick those dorf into the grounds.
