Hardcore Sports
I was just looking up dangerous sports and I ran in this video. Seriously? Who thought that a game where you taze the opposition was a good idea?
There are already a handful of sports people do that result in several deaths a year.
We also know that there are terrible long term effects from playing American Football, Rugby, and Combat Sports (Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA.)
It turns out that even soccer (or football for the majority of you) causes brain damage because of heading. And then there's the really crazy fans.
In Russia there's this little gem. I'm a fan of MMA, but that's ridiculous.
I think we're getting pretty close a real life Blood Bowl.

That tekball game actually looks pretty awesome. The tazers seem a bit unnecessary, but the rest of it looks pretty cool.
I still think if the Isle of Man TT can still exist, then people can play whatever whacky sport they want and still pale in comparison. Basically one mistake in that race and you're dead. It's almost a zero sum situation.

i really can't remember the details right now (as in a rush) but i know that theres one town here in England where they havea yearly sporting event. Pretty much the whole town packs themselves tightly into a small area then the mayor throws a ball in. the aim of the game is to get the ball to and area a couple of miles away through the town. the rules are basically "no weapons". it can often take several hours of scrumaging and violence before the ball reaches the "goal".
