The final 4
Hi, we have reached the final 4 of yet another CFC in which the best coaches of this season will clash against each other. I decided to give those who got eliminated early and those who are interested in reading about it an impression what it is all about and who those four people are we will soon see go head to head against each other.

This season featured two groups the Terrestrials and the Borg. The challenge was finally won in Round 9 by the Terrestrials when they removed everyone from the game who had chosen the side of the Borg. These are the four people who made it:

Azure – The brain and the muscle of the Terrestrials and the reason for the Borgs destruction. Azure never lost a game but in group tournament it’s the whole groups performance that matters. He could win a game 7:0 but he would still need somebody else to win his game. He organized his group early on and got rid of the suicidals who had sometimes stronger teams or were stronger coaches. Yet no one on his side managed to really stand out to his qualities and eventually his group would face its demise.
One of the interesting strategical features of the tournament is the democracy challenge. In that both groups vote together one coach off. Naturally Azure was afraid he would be targeted being the strongest player and in the smaller losing group. He persuaded Relezite and MonkyTonky of the Borg to side with him and managed to get one of the stronger Borg players out of the game, Rafe. He usually would organize his group and advice them on how to advance through the challenges and it was certainly through to him that the three people aligned with him arrived at the end.

CW- CW was the backbone of the terrestrials. You can’t win a group tournament by just winning one game per round, but sometimes two is enough. CW was to deliver that second victory and that was certainly an uphill battle. Azure could make 7 TDs in a game but it would require for CW to make the difference. The group was under constant threat to run extinct already in the early rounds of the tournament but thanks to him they managed to at least stay in the game. He was a solid combatant and in many regards the best example for what it meant to be a Terrestrial in this tournament. His comprehension for the tournament rules was also recommendable. In the later stages of the tournament the Borgs unity had crumbled and they had fallen into a state of self destruction. When Awamabwamb decided to side with the Terrestrials it was CW who had just waited for the right moment, short to the end when he finally went for his colleagues throat and tried to get Azure out of the tournament in the last possible moment, only short of making it into the CFC history books for brilliant play he was lacking the support of MonkyTonky. If it was due to his reluctance to talk and strategise with him or if MonkyTonky refused to side with him I do not know. Now that he has made himself a new enemy the only question remains: Is he good enough to defeat him in a straight game? We will see in the semi finals when he meets Azure.

MonkyTonky – MonkyTonky was a Borg defector and the only original Borg to make it to the end. He was one of the two coaches who would side with Azure during the democracy challenge and later take the opportunity during the anarchy challenge to align himself with him. During that challenge coaches could switches sides freely. At this point the Terrestrials had 3 members left and the Borg had 4. After he switched Awambawamb decided to do the same and the Borg were left behind with Relezite who had originally turned on his group aswell as amen0 who had been inactive for a week. The downfall of the Borg at this point was inevitable and swift. Noone survived. MonkyTonkys moves in the tournament allowed him to move further himself and to reach the final 4 challenge. But will his actions and his performance be enough to win his last two matches and become the fifth Crazy Fun Challenge Champion?

Flexo – An unlikely candidate for the final 4 relatively new to Fumbbl. He only managed to win one game and it wasn’t about scoring TDs. His comrades protected him One of his biggest strength was that he was loyal and did not forget about the voting game. Many other coaches would willingly sacrifice themselves to Flexos profit. He is a bit of the underdog in this final clash but also a bit of the nice and loyal fella you would want to see succeed. Will his luck and his wits be enough to overcome the giants he has to face?
We will see soon!

UPDATE: CW and MonkyTonky have won their games and reached the final.

See, this is what happens when I am not around to dice the living #&@! out of Azure's dwarves.

Looking forward to seeing how this raps up!
