matterazi skill set
i always had the feeling that bloodbowl misses a skillcategory.... thats why i posted this in the forum some years ago...
....materazzi skills are the skills of the real stars... they are the true leaders the champions on the field.. they burn their names into our minds on their pathes to glory.. they are the one's that can score endless touchdowns, pass, block... they are the masters of the metagaming.. they offend the opposing fools till they make themself banned... they are the ones that never run into the direction you expect them... they are always one step ahead...

invisible hands

the player starts whining whenever an opponent moves close to him...
you can use this skill when the whining player is prone and an opposing player ends his moveaction next to him.
The whining players coach declares the whining and moves his player into stunned position... do a igmoy roll to see if opposing player is banned from the pitch...
"Lucker"
the player tends to do insane actions all the time and tends to to them much better then the ordinary folks... player never fails any action on a 4+
"tricking"
whenever the player is blocked with a block/skull result, he may choose one plyer from his or the opposing team adjectant to the blocker.. ...proceed as if the block would have been made on the chosen player instead...
"invisible hands"
the player is so incredibly fast with his hands that their moves cannot be spotted if he touches the ball... to represent this he doesnt suffer from a turnover when he fails a pickup attemptl, but must end his move...
"provoke"
the player is a little rude and often manages to stop his opponents from doing their job.... whenever the opponent starts a turn the provoking players coach may choose to provoke an opposing player in an adjectant square... when this player roles a 1 he must block the provoking player as first action in the turn
"awsomeness"
they player is just awsome... to represent this he may add for one turn during the game at any time either a point of movement, strengh, agility or armor to his value... this skill can be used to counter a failed armor or agility roll but doesnt work after taking a go for it or after a block action has been made...

the player had a bold head wich he can use to headbutt others ...
you may do a additonal block action during your moveaction and add +1 to your strengh (works as additional blitz + horns) but will get imidiatly banned after that.... this does not cause a turnover... Smile

For these to become viable, they also need a nega-trait aspect.
For example,
Lucker: For each successful automatic 4+ roll, the opponent is blessed by Nuffle, who can intervene causing an automatic fail to any 1+, 2+ or 3+ roll.
not very balanced, but could add a lot of fun to a tabletop league.. how about a limit on only 3 skill from this ruleset allowed per team...
fun ideas tho!

i think the whiner idea would be an excellent way to counter Dirty players in the oppositions team!! thus making DP not as powerful as it currently is!!

I like most of the ideas, just "balding" seems a bit off. I mean the horns are already used to do a special headbutt and i d assume that it is quite common to do it anyway, so this feels a bit redundant.
On the other hand I would like to add a skill like "Fan Favorite" in LRB5. I doubt the effects are strong enough to take it already, but something along those lines could be nice.
For the star: huge is not neccessary, just remove stunty or is it so important that he is a little worse at throwing ?
