Very nice indeed!
However, I'm pretty sure BB7s will have had days like that, especially when one of the big tournaments kicked off (and coaches did not only play their tournament, but also casual games). There was no limit to open games (since they were not embedded in a tournament structure), so coaches frequently used to play a lot of games back to back, often against the same coaches with the same teams. Alas, that was 2010-2011 or so (haven't been there before, myself).
It indeed reminds me of the good old BB7s days and it bugs me I wasn't able to play at least a single GRIND game tonight. :-(

You know you want to play Russo ;-)

In swedish league one team played their round 4 game before the first deadline.
That's the fastest i've seen, but not ORR.
145 league is usually a really busy ORR league.

lol like I say I whilst it sounds good I can't be bothered at the moment having to meet all the rules.

Fair enough, though so as not to give the wrong impression there isn't actually that much you need to read to get started. The basics are:
- Create 11 man team with no re-rolls, FF, Cheerleaders or Coaches.
- Pick team and player names appropriate to Tilean fluff.

No RRs!? With my bad dice I tend to have 5 or 6 on my more developed teams.

You can earn RRs, it just takes some time for the players to find together as a team. ;-)

Royston: Maybe the problem isn't really that you have bad dice. Maybe the problem is that you're giving away 3 rerolls worth of TV which your opponent has as skills...

It's a different way of playing for sure :) Though everyone elses lack of re-rolls tends to balance it out somewhat :P

Well I played in a really good league a few years ago Called We Dont Need No Steenkin Rerolls
Was brilliant fun and very tactical.

Would be nice if we could restart it :-)

Also the old NBL (No Block League) was awesome too, that used to get its games played pretty quick using the open system. Obviosuly you could not have Dorfs or Norse and only Hobgoblins and minos if you took CD's

The open system has kicked off much bigger than I expected, though really that is the side-show to the scheduled league.
Grind is reduced re-roll and reduced Block rather than none of either. You just have to work towards such things, or teams that start with them have pay-offs in other areas.
