Suppress your instincts.
Before instinctively clicking "accept/offer game" vs tier 4 teams (or any team for that matter) on gamefinder, please look at the team. Simple request. I'm getting pretty tired of people accepting games, only to decline a few seconds later. I open the client and sit around and wait for an opponent that never show.... And no, the coaches in question doesn't show due to starting another game.

I find this hard to believe. Why would anybody decline a match vs flings, especially flings that rarely win?

You know, and Im sure you do, in Black Box you can't refuse a game after initializing your team. Much easier way to get games than ranked. I stopped playing ranked because of the time it took to get a game. If I did accept a game, then get refused in the latter stage, I think it would drive me closer to Box. Though I am already sold on its superiority. I see that truckerpunk doesn't have a single box team. The way I see it is that Box is like league. You don't get to choose your opponents, so you try to build your team to suit all contenders. Its hard for the average individual to win games in box. I have an extremely hard time myself.
I guess the difference for me is that I end up taking teams that are murderers in Ranked because I get choosey. Ill spend 10 minutes going through teams looking for a fun match up, and then give up looking and accept any willing team. That could be the problem for you. People offer everyone, then pick and choose through the willing candidates, rather than go through teams, that you first must ask, and then they may say yes to the game. Maybe its quicker that way to get games? I know that every time I try to play in ranked, it takes longer than 10 minutes to get a game. I hope it gets better for you.

It may be a delay in the offer/accept process. I know folks have mentioned it to me before after I've tried to get a Stunty game, got distracted and then clicked out to withdraw my teams.
