Lorenzo
One of my favorite teams to play are my high elf Thorontaesi Saints, a team that underwent a recent haircut, courtesty of Wreckage. We were having trouble finding games, and had just retired team hitman Sierra. Well, nuffle is not a fan of retiring healthy players, and the elves paid the price, losing both blitzers and one of our two catchers in the same game.

Now, Thronotaesi has said goodbye to better players in the past, but never 3 positional players in one game. Still standing is long-time team sacker Lorenzo, a defensive stalwart since the team's inception. For 77 games, Lorenzo has been putting his body on the line, doing the tough jobs, and quietly doing his part to win games. If forced fumbles were a statistic, he would surely be among the all-time greats. Players come, and players go... but the decidedly average Lorenzo has outlasted them all.

He may never make legend, but today Thorontaesi finally recognized the steady work of the elf who grew up dreaming of being a wardancer. Lorenzo will captain the Saints from this day forward. Peanut would be proud.

For a few seconds, I though this was about the woodelf team and a certain wardancer....

If any of you wonder how you should do to be allowed to name your players, A. B. C. D. E etc here is how it is done:

Voting so far is: 6, 6, 1

Typical of the screwed up social commentary that is FUMBBL. Where voting is not so much expression of an opinion as game theory in practice - meet school yard bully.

Linemen get phonetic names.

Positionals get a fancy one.

The problem isn't how people vote but how the mathematical average is calculated by sum of all ratings divided by number of voters.

This would be actually easy to fix by calculating it:

function getRating(one,two,three,four,five,six){

//one, two, three, four, five, six tell the times a particular
//rating was clicked.

if (one > two+three+four+five+six){
return 1;}

else if (one+two > three+four+five+six){
if (one===two+three+four+five+six) return 1.5;
else return 2;}

else if (one+two+three > four+five+six){
if (one+two===three+four+five+six) return 2.5;
else return 3;}

else if (one+two+three+four > five+six){
if (one+two+three === four+five+six) return 3.5;
else return 4;}

else if (one+two+three+four+five>six){
if (one+two+three+four===five+six) return 4.5;
else return 5;}

else if (one+two+three+four+five<six) {
return 6;
}

else if (one+two+three+four+five===six) return 5.5;

else return 0;
}

What in da hell is going on around this joint?

a actual discussion on how the Blog rating system should work for a Rat_Salat blog?

Do you feel his blog rating is +/- to high/low?

just one little flaw fixed:

function getRating(one,two,three,four,five,six){
if (one > two+three+four+five+six){
return 1;}

else if (one+two > three+four+five+six){
if (one===two+three+four+five+six) return 1.5;
else return 2;}

else if (one+two+three > four+five+six){
if (one+two===three+four+five+six) return 2.5;
else return 3;}

else if (one+two+three+four > five+six){
if (one+two+three === four+five+six) return 3.5;
else return 4;}

else if (one+two+three+four+five>six){
if (one+two+three+four===five+six) return 4.5;
else return 5;}

else if (one+two+three+four+five<six) {
return 6;
}

else if (six>0) return 5.5;

else return 0;
}

I prefer this code:

Wreckage<-median(votes)

Much shorter.

Rated 6 to acknowledge blogging about basically fluff-based events and creating a real team history beyond numbers!
