Bored with the usual on screen shenanigans the Munsters decided to get involved in a bit of light hearted fun and created a bloodbowl team from the family and close friends. The team operates out of the newly built Herman stadium in the back yard of 1313 Mockingbird Lane. <b>2012</b> WIL Fringe Anglesey Division XII (Jan 2012) The year and season started off to a defeat by the Garden City Reavers with the high risk/high reward game play not paying off. The only silver lining in the defeat was the death of two of the opposition teams front line (unskilled linemen) on turn 16 that allowed one of them to be recruited to the team after Grandpa created a device to bring him back to life. Herman was furious with rage after the 2-0 defeat and it took the the gentle threat of violence from Lily to calm him down. Sadly the team only joined the division with enough time to play a single game but it looks like the Munsters have been invited to a local knockout cup. The knockout cup initially went well for the Munsters with two wins against the Heroes of Block and No Starting Skills but a close defeat by the Danish Children in WIL Fringe resigned the Munsters to an early end of season. Overall the Munsters had gone 2-0-2 so Herman remained calm. WIL Fringe Guernsey Division XIII (May 2012) After a short training break the team where back in action. The first game against the Thorney Becks had to be cancelled as the opposing coach removed his team from the division. The second game against the Blue Tornado's turned into a comedy of errors and luckily Lilly manged to get across the line to give the win to the Munsters. The final game of the season was against the Science Giants who put up a good fight during the first half and forced a fast score by the Munsters. Sadly for the Giants the curse of the Ogre kicked in at the end of the first half and the Munsters managed to force another score in the seconf half and won. WIL Fringe Cup(Jun 2012) After a successful run out in the league, Herman was determined to put in a good showing for the cup. Sadly the first game didnt happen and the Munsters were given a by and proceeded to the Semi-Finals where they played KungPow Dynamite. KungPow played well and nearly gave the Munsters a big scare when they went into the first half 1-1, nuffle then deserted the beasts from below and the Munsters stormed through to victory. This led the Munsters to the final where they met Day Spa Dragons, the game started well for the Dragons but about midway through the first half nuffle began to watch the elves and in quick order things began to fall apart.
