I haven't played zons much, but against.
I think you need more guard, preffereably on the blitzers. |

It all depends on the TV and builds of the teams you are facing. |

I'd have thought preferably on the linos if you can get it.
As for more players check your schedule. How much tackle do you have coming up? Are you likely to be giving up a wizard?
Your linos are cheap though and with AV7 it's worth having spare. You want to be able to foul their tacklers without fear. |

I think you should buy a second catcher. A access alone is worth it, if only for sidestep, and then you will be at 13 player which is a good number for a L team.
About the guard debate, my rule of thumb for zons has always been :
Skill on Blitzer? --> guard
Double on any other player? --> guard. That includes even throwers, zons players are basically all the same.
There is very few cases where I would take something else.
You always need more guard on zons, as it is key in maintaining your positional advantage and keeping your players upright. Since you pretty much have alround blodge, those guards will be up more often than not. |

I'd lose the thrower and catcher. 12 and an apoth has been enough for me but I'm not playing very developed teams. Blodge everyone. |

This is League not TVbowl. Catchers on a League team aiming high are very good. |

Catchers are great because of access to A.
You can make one or two blodge/SS/DT on the cheap, and, they still have catch which is usually useless, but occasionally bails you out of tricky situations.
Throwers... I'm less enthused about, but I'm not enthused about them on any team anyway. Unless they come with sure hands, and then they might be worthwhile. |

Urgh Zons. My advice is to play another team. But I guess this sensible advice isn't what you're looking for. |

I don't buy catcher or thrower in league either. I see no use of them. I much rather have 13, 14, or even 15 players on the roster. |

Catchers are okay, I guess: Zons are pretty forgiving at/vs low TV, so you can afford the bloat while you build up to Blodgestep and whatever, but I've found Agility access to be underwhelming on Zons. 12 players is enough for now if your opposition is not developed, 13 if you're always a big underdog. You're looking fine, you need some Guard but you're right to take MB first on two Blitzers. |

With zons you need excess bodies to make sure you start the 2nd half with 11. They can lose a few ways:
1. Elves score, then blitz and score again.
2. You start a drive with less people than opposition.
You cant control much the point No1, but you can the No2. Even against dorfs there is a reasonable chance for a draw if you have enough bodies.
Amazons have low chance to outball or outrun anybody. They do not score quickly. They are usually on a draw, or a 2-1 grind, be it on the losing or the winning side. If you have enough players, then you minimized the chance to be on the losing side of the 2-1 grind, and maximized the chance of a win/draw. |

Amazons are pretty simple.
1) I'm not sure you want a thrower, because 20k for just pass and P access isn't that fantastic. Leader is overrated on teams with 50k rerolls.
2) Guard/Stand Firm/Diving Tackle is pretty solid on those blitzers
3) You want at least one hitting blitzer, Zons cheese nicely.
4) MA6 catchers aren't very exciting
5) Since all your players have the same stat line, the first +AG gets to be the ballcarrier. +MA works too. |
