There's no rule in bloodbowl stating you should take less than four minutes per turn in the current ruleset. There's a houserule on Fumbbl and there's a tool for dealing with the rare cases. There's also a chat where, with minimal fuss, a conversation can be had about the respective expectations.
And then there's entitled people who manage to behave like idiots despite all that. |

These threads are seldom well debated, and frequently devolve into the sort of "discussions" that are, frankly, an embarrassment to any idea of community. This is partially due to most of the involved being set in their beliefs and possessing an extreme viewpoint.
There really isn't much use discussing these matters if one isn't prepared to understand others' viewpoint. I am not even appealing to the sense of admitting one may be incorrect, but simply the position of understanding that even a viewpoint one finds disagreeable is usually reached in the belief it is for the common good. People seldom are actually possessed of malign intent. |

I wholeheartedly agree.
That's a very wise mindset, assuming one also considers the possibility of malign intent and isn't actively blind about it in an excess of trust.
The last of Matt's posts clearly states that he doesn't care about the people but only about the game.
That's in direct contrast with any idea of community whatsoever so that settles it for me. |

Reading failure.
I wrote that I don't care about what people THINK about me, not that I don't care about people.
So, please don't put in my mouth words I never said.
Actually in game I help opponents quite often if they are unaware of a rule or something else. Today I sent a link to one of my opponents with the FUMBBL Season Re-Draft formula, for example. |

I'm not the one calling people "manchild" and "clown" (in another post of yours).
If I were you I would look at the mirror before talking about community care.
I just stick to site rules.
Quite weirdly, looks like that "being disrespectful towards FUMBBL community" is something I have been punished for but not the other way around, at least judging by the posts on this forum.
I would report you but you would still be here, so I will just ignore you, it's the only logical thing to do.
Just, I observe that the FUMBBL rules seem not to be enforced, sometimes. |
