Been gone a while...
Is the competitive division doing a redraft or seasonal setup of some form?
There is alot of talk, cant work out how it has or hasn't been implemented.

Hasn't been implemented. Its on the list of stuff they are planning but I don't know that its very high on the priority list. The black box was recently fixed to where teams with less than 15 games won't match with teams with more. Which kind of creates seasons in the box. |

Well imo playing teams over 15 games in box or tinder at the moment is clearly breaking the rules and should be frowned upon  |

Most Teams should play 1-4 games imo. There's a competition that allows exactly that as well. |

I now have mixed feelings about it. I want the old champion teams to last until they are broken for site tourneys.
Edit: Purely selfish, but I want there to be a division with redraft with its own culture, and retain competitive as an anything goes. I imagine that the new standard division with redraft (in my imagination) would have its own site tourneys and so on that would be more in line with 2020 rules. Like 15 matches you are open for the Standard league tourney. 30 matches, you may join the dynasty tourney. It could be great fun though. I do believe that if current teams that have not faced a redraft--especially a fine tuned team that you see the top players play year after year get hollowed out I am also afraid of a coach exodus. |

How and when can you join that competition ?
Do you get a star or something for winning ? |

really? I did not had time to deep dive the BB scheduler algorithm

i assume that today the scheduling algorithm still follows this rule

so this one in particular
Below 3 games played, max TV difference allowed is within 10%
For 3 to 9 games played, max TV difference allowed is within 15%
For 10 to 29 games played, max TV difference allowed is (15 + (games - 10) * 2)%
For 30 or more games, any opponent is allowed
not sure there is a game-played gap filter... ?
let's take a team that makes the Trophy with 13 games played can easily have a CTV above 1500 ... If you are a good player. Take this Thorin team for example

As far as I know, for how the BB matchmaking algorithm is done , "could" be paired with a team with CTV 1650 +/-340
(340 = 1650 * [15 + (13 - 10) * 2)]/100 rounded bottom)
and this is indipendent to how many games played the other team
So in principle it can be associated vs "stat freaked" team of CTV 1700 with 200 or 300 or more games played

Game 0-5 teams are just way too high variance for my tastes most of the time... You shouldn't blame the dice but in those first 5 games it can completely come down to failing a bunch of improbable stuff that you normally don't have to worry about with a more developed team. |
