At around 7:15 the Blodge vampire gets knocked down on a Pow/Push
He elected to not use his Dodge to avoid giving the gutter a 1dice shot at surfing him immediately after, on the diagonal
The client gives you the choice to use Dodge or not, because it's optional, in situations like that.
Also on the LOS when there's 1TTD potential (you'll see this happen in round 3)
The vamp not using Dodge and going down was safer than getting surfed, because the crowd automatically breaks your armour but the pow/push doesn't
But I think tactically just looking to stop that drive, having the rookie gutter take a 1dice was maybe more important?
Either way, keeping the vamp on the pitch isn't worth very much because then it only has MA3 and won't catch the MA9 gutter anyway |

Yes, that choice seemed less useful in terms of winning the match. I was confused enough to ask the admin if it was an error myself. It was a nice swingy game though. I was wondering how I can apply to the site to start a tournament of my own as a minor or major. If not I at least need the competitive ruleset id to invite all standard teams besides Slann.
I want to have a FIFA style group stage followed by a knockout round.
The initial team representing each group will have the best Win and Draw ratio relative to losses, with a tiebreaker being the ratio between wins to draws. The third tiebreaker for "being the elite in a group," involves the team with less games played. The fourth tiebreaker is TV amount. The final tiebreaker is FUMBBL site coach rating.
The group stage would likely involve 4 teams+2 blank teams for tournament purposes (bkank teams award forfeit wins, but to make a tournament on FUMBBL it is more functional to have 6 teams).
The team leading the group would be agnostic to type. However, a snakedraft according to rank of team type would occur to fill the group.
For example, the team that is the leader of the group with the highest pre tournament rank might be balanced, I would add the least rated stunty team to this group. The next group leader would initially fill its quota of stunty with the second worst, etcetera.
For austerity it would be Stunty, Balanced, Agility, Bash. |

I don't see The Terrifying Anarchists, Nandorins, Ultimate Superheroes, Competitive Eaters etc.
When the title includes "Fumbbl Cup Final" or "Semi Final" it will mean something. But right now for me it would be the coach name that is the draw.
We can of course go to the Tournament page and look up the games but it is an extra step which will be even more hassle when the tournament is over.
With coach names the playlist has more value and stands better on it's own. |
If the coaches are okay with me posting their names they can let me know here. In my experience it is less of a headache for myself and the coaches involved if it does not provide identifiers. |
