Hello, is it possible to have a sandbox BB client not needing programming, in order not to require developers' work to play with heterodox rules (in League division)?
I mean, just a basic client, used as a virtual tabletop board, allowing coaches to play with their own rules (not client-automated, but applied "manually", like when a TT game is played in real life).
That way it would be possible to play with a rr per turn, with a different KO system, with different Apothecary, CAS table, Passing system etc. because all the rolls and effects would be worked out by the coaches playing the game, not by the client.
The only thing required in that kind of client would be some dice roller options, like D6, D8, 2D6 (or whatever die), the rules would be enforced by the coaches.
It could be great for teaching the game, showing tactics, making videos, testing 1TTD, testing house rules etc.
The pitch should be resizable, if possible, with more or less squares (a smaller pitch could be used for BB 7, as an aside). |

Ah Vassal, yes, I remember it, my friends used it to play boardgames some years ago. I don't remember whether you need to download a BB module with the standard number of squares pitch or you can make your own custom pitch. |

I see, basically it's quicker to make a paper pitch and play vs myself.
Thank you very much! |
