Then again; I feel that 500 losses for me is quite doable the way Nuffle has his beady little eyes on me.

Hi. Welcome to fumbbl, you may never leave.
We have all been new, remember there are people here with 1000+ matches under their belt. Your massive natural talent will surely out in the end once you learn the game. It is almost irrelevant how good you are/were in real life as a massive open league BB game is a whole different kettle of fish. Human v human is always a tough learning curve and few players, especially in ranked, will go easy on you, though there is much advice around.
4 specific bits of advice from me:
1: DO EVERYTHING Torsoboy said
2: When not playing click 'games' and spectate others playing, great easy way to learn.
3: Try and spend some time reading the user guide/help section, it rocks.
4: Sort out chat, or failing that create teams called 'XXXXX (Pm me)' and list them on 'gamefinder' when you seek a game. Dont worry about being stuck with a sucky name if you do sort chat, as your early teams ARE doomed and WILL die/be retired.

Bsically, what torsoboy was saying, is, do the unrisky moves first, that is the moves that require no rolls, because a) rolls fail and b) treat your every roll like they were going to fail miserably, unless of course, playing stunty.
And even then, be prepared to witness how AG 3 orcs throw and catch the ball easily as elves during the rain and without rerolls. Or something else completely different. |
