We are thinking about a tabletop stunty leeg for some fun and carnage besides our regular league matches. This means work with minis (although we are prepared to start with proxed minis, we are all fans of real teams, scratch built or bought, where the later is rather unlikely), so we are interested in some advice for teams. Nobody wants to build a team and scrap it after two or three matches... Is there something like the tiers in regular BB ? Are there teams which are more starter friendly or some which aren´t really up to par / recommended for starters ? We´ve all been playing a couple of BB teams before, so it´s not like we´re fresh starters with BB, only stunty leeg is new for us...
Thanks a lot ! |

From my experience, chaos halflings are strong, or rather they dont have enough downsides
The thing with stunty is it has quite a lot of access to skills that wreck other teams attempts to play a balling game, mainly str5 tentacles, and most linemen will take diving tackle. Also prehensile tail and shadowing
This means teams are kinda forced to build for bashing game
Snots squiqs and cheaters are potentially more bashy than CH but unreliable. Fun, but can self destruct
Strig, nurgle, gnomes, skyre, and pro flings are a sort of middle, quite bashy but have downsides
Once a team has built a blitzer with block and tackle he can smash up stunties pretty quickly by himself, its easier to clear pitch than in normal BB despite the big rosters |
