As suggested by TheMurker, here's the thread about the things we like of the current BB edition.

- Kick-Off table (overall better than the former one, but I would change some events).

- Clawmb and Cpomb nerfs.

- Jump over Prone/Stunned players.

- Random skills: not a bad idea, but should be refined (for example, rolling two D12 and picking one skill, making trash skills more useful and random skills should still cost their full TV).

- Passing stat: it's nice to have a specific stat to work out passing, but the passing system should be tweaked.

- Multi rr: could be a good idea for tier 3 teams only, but not for every team. Shifts the game towards dice rolling and makes up for positioning mistakes with rush spamming.

- Transitory: the current edition should not last forever, this is another favourite part of it. Next edition could be better with little effort.

- Multiple rr per turn
- Jump over prone pieces
- Tidy stats (like ag 2+ is better than ag4)

I like the random skill option, I think it's something useful to expand on/modify for future editions.

I like being able to instant redraft a team that had a terrible high death first game or two.

A few things come to mind right away:

It sticks to the core principles

ClawMB gone

Kick off table improved

M10 barred

Sneaky Git useful

Fan factor no longer counts towards TV

Goblin ooligan is a colourful and useful addition

Blitz! kickoff event brought down to something more reasonable. Throw a rock almost something reasonable now with Argue with the Ref.

I really, really, really like multi-rr, which surprises me. I mean, I was skeptical to say the least, but it adds a ton of variety and depth. I heard it was an accident lol, but it's definitely the best part of the new rules, at least the best change.

Random skills ... needs salt, but the idea is good. There's a lot of that.

Some of the specific skills are good. Defensive is a good addition. The new Sneaky Git, after the nerf, is a lot better than the earlier versions (including LRB5-6 and 2016). The Grab buff was good. Some of the new skills, like Arm Bar and Brawler, are good ideas but need to be strengthened. Few are OP, that's nice.

I like a lot of the new rosters, at least conceptually. Even the bad moves, like Amazon Blockers, CD Flamesmiths and stabby things, and the Vamp positional pricing, there are generally good ideas underlying them.

I like that Shadowing and Tentacles are rolled by the user and not the acting player.

I like the number of stars, and I think the next edition has a good job to hit better on them.

I like the idea of a passing stat and a lot of the new passing skills, even if I hate the implementation of the same.

The original inducement system was half-baked, but it was actually a good idea in principle, it just needed a lot more attention.

The whole thing comes off to me as emblematic of the difference between "thought out" and "considered" or something like that. They did the right thing the wrong way a whole lot. It feels like it was made by gamers, but not by coaches.

Multi re-rolls per turn has definitely been a surprising improvement.

And random skills rolls within a skill group is cool as an idea, I kind of wish it went further though and wasn't an underused alternative option to picking skills! I wonder what would happen if it was incorporated into the old system, say for example when you level-up you roll a d16 and just as an example:
1-8 random primary;
9-11 chosen primary;
12-13 random secondary;
14 chosen secondary;
15 random stat;
16 chosen stat.

But most of all I think the new niggling injury rules are much, much better than the old ones! Rather than ruining in-game play based on random 1's it's now a player development effect and the way it potentially snowballs on itself is really cool.(My only concern is whether it snowballs on itself quickly enough in practice. Would +2 be better than +1?)

Can we start a thread for the UpsideDown where we talk about Dakka's and everyone else's favorite part of the current Blood Bowl game mechanics? What we DO like about the rule set?

For once I thought you had generated a list of appreciations of this game, instead it is your usual list of whining disguised as false positives for trolling us

Somebody popping up to write a post totally off-topic seems to me closer to trolling.
It's a thread supposed to talk about favourite parts of the current BB edition. There is no mention of favourite parts of current BB edition in your post.
At least you could do a little effort and try to write something topic-related.
