Every time my opponents hit me and I hear the fatality sound I get an heart attack. Often it's only a KO, but still it is the same sound. There should be different sound for KO/BH/SI and Dead. At least there should be a different sound for KO than for the others. KO players can still play later in the game which is a big difference from the other, therefore it should be good with a different sound.

It should also be an very easy thing to implement.

The new sound "Fatality" is really cool by the way. Cool

Skijunkie has said many times, he will add any sounds we like to the game, but you have to send him the sound file you want used.

BTW this topic would be more appropriately placed in the JavaBBowl Client-> Feature Request Forum. I'm sure SkiJunkie would be more likely to spot it.

But since we are already offtopic, Klipp, do you know if there is a method that we can use custom sounds. I tried it in the past but my replaced .wav files didn't work.

Hmm, afaik, you just replace them, but they might also have had to be at a certain sample rate or somethings, I forget what really.

ya they have to be at a specific sample rate. The only way I could get java to use the sounds was to tell java the sample rate before loading the file. Thus they all need to be that hard coded sample rate. I forget what that is but you should be able to look at the files and find out.
