My goblins are just about to face off vs Kingvan's filthy, tackle-laden, vamps (21:30 KO) |

Eliminated second turn. Double pow for my opponent on 2 dices against, double for 1 all the game... Cheated |

You were pummelled by a 880tv smaller team with similar dice |

I dunno, you lost due to a -2d with about 33% odds of success (64ish with rr) then a loner surf, the whole sequence was about 45%ish to work, and came about due to a wiz fail.
Seems quite weird to rant about, some of us lost to maximum 5% equity turns |

I didn't actually think I was especially lucky in that game, though I only ever remember the 1s I roll...
An error strewn performance but they're a scary team and it was good enough to win so I'll take it. |

Thanks - we are probably done in terms of winnign the tournament, but I would rank that amongst my best victories given the start and the cas dice. We'll see what the next game brings and do our best. |

Dice are part of Blood Bowl - there are dice. The right mindset is to play the best you can with the dice you been given, and accept wherever that gets you. To be the best you can it's worth been open to the idea that firstly the coaching, and secondarily the team builds/matchup usually plays a bigger part in the result than blind luck. Finally even if you feel you've been a little unlucky it's polite to acknowledge the opposition scores with a 'congrats'. Coaches will also usually thank the opposition for the game afterwards. |

Think both me and my opponent did all that, no? Not sure what point you are trying to make. |

Not related to your post Malmir, apologies if it came across that way. Just a general advice for all coaches to consider before they come onto this thread to moan about their dice and disrespect their opponents. |

Ah no worries, good advice in general indeed, though I think we all appreciate it can be hard to take when you have looked forward to a game and the dice are just overwhelming. |

Well, at least three skulls too many, Malmir. I’m toast.
Thanks to the staff for running the event, and good luck to Amok. May he go far. |
