You don't need an app. Just download Java (https://www.java.com/) in case you don't have it, and you're good to go.
If you want to test the client, just go to the Game page, select a game being played now, then click spectate.
Your browser will download all it needs and run it.
Also, I suggest reading this: https://fumbbl.com/help: |

Hi rmdaniel,
You'll perhaps also need to associate JNLP files to javaws (java web services) in your browser.

Does this work in Firefox still?
I change it to open with 'Java(TM) Web Launcher', and then when I go back to confirm the setting, it's changed itself back to 'Always Ask'
Edit- oh never mind, it was because I had to click to manually sync my Firefox settings into Firefox Sync |

I was under the same difficulties.
1: When downloading "java". My firefox downloaded a file with no extensions. I had to rename it into XXX.exe or doing something to execute this installer.
2: Once this is done, when you try to spectate/play a game, fumbbl makes your firefox/browser donwload a .jlnp file.
3: When .jlnp file is downloaded, I still need execute it in firefox. |
