First of all, apologies for not being Nelphine (hence the poor formatting and the lack of links) and for leaving it to the last second...

Chaos Dwarf 4 (1 qualified)
Ogre 4 (1 qualified)
Halfling 3 (1 qualified)

1/8 Orcs getting through, Ha!
Although only 1/4 Chorfs got through, it's probably worth noting 3 of them were in the same division.
And yes, get in Halfabrain! EZ 2-0 win in the final.
Now where is out star player breakdown? |

Zero Elves for Ulthuan, that's a tragedy.
I'll interpret it as a challenge and a call to arms in spite of the dumb current meta. |

Thanks Java, I guess the big surprise is only one of the gobbo teams made it!
I was interested in Dark/Light so did a quick breakdown below based off your list. Light does seem to favour Dorf, at expense of anyone who needs to Dodge.
DARK
Goblin 2 (1 qualified, GET IN!)
Snotling 3 (1 qualified)
Underworld Denizens 3 (1 qualified)
Chaos Dwarf 4 (1 qualified)
Shambling Undead 8 (1 qualified)
Orc 8 (1 qualified)
Chaos Chosen 1
Necromantic Horror 1
Nurgle 1
Skaven 1
Dark Elf 2
LIGHT
Dwarf 7 (3 qualified)
Human 7 (2 qualified)
Ogre 4 (1 qualified)
Lizardmen 5 (1 qualified)
Norse 2 (1 qualified)
Amazon 1
Old World Alliance 1
High Elf 2
Imperial Nobility 2
Elven Union 3
Halfling 3
Wood Elf 5
I took Human and am still coming to terms with loosing out on qualifying in a penalty shoot out. Ah well, next time! |

To me it's baffling no TKs showed up since 1) this is the Khemri edition 2) they are DOMINATING (statistically speaking) the Rumbles
I've collected some data on the rumbles, too, and that will be published in due course, but I'm a bit short on time right now and not exactly able to justify to myself spending an hour or 2 doing the star analysis, Astrolonim style, noting down who bought what and if both did, when stars won, etc
if someone wants to do it, thank you so much
otherwise I'll do it post-UI when the data is settled |

OK I've got some stars data, but not all stars data. Did this with pen and paper while idling on the phone so not very reliable.
Star W/D/L [notes] (times they were bough by both teams)
Bomber 5/0/3 (4)
Morg 4/0/4 [Light: 2/0/2, Dark 2/0/2] (1) <-!!!!!
Cindy 4/1/2 (1)
Zug 1/1/1 (Light 1/1/0 Dark 0/0/1)
Chaney 2/0/0
Griff 1/1/0
Glart 1/0/1
Fungus 1/0/0
Varag 1/0/0
Bugman 1/0/0
Deeproot 1/0/0
Dribl & Drull 1/0/0
Hakflem 1/0/0
Helmut 0/0/1
Akhorne 0/0/1
Eldril 0/0/1
Zolcath 0/0/1
Borak 0/0/1
Nobbla 0/0/1
Kreek 0/0/1
raw total (not very meaningful) 24/3/18 (6)
I'm baffled that a team went through the trouble of overdogging Morg only to see it counter-hired...
If someone wants to do some SPREADSHEETS (winty?) considering when the side with stars won etc they're welcome to it |

Well it was more the other way around. My opponent cut his team prior to our match to give himself exactly 380k. It was clear what for and I felt denying him Morg would cap him at 11 players + 1 star who isn't as good as morg.
Annoyingly, I now have to face Morg next round and don't appear to have another 380k spare |

That explains it a bit more. I wonder how much was the trim needed for that and if bomber+wiz would have been a better choice of star after Morg was countered.
To be honest, Morg averages about 1 removed dorf per half if he blocks every turn, so can't really say my heart bleeds for you
Tackle spam is the best suited to deal with the little gits. You'll pull through! |

I've actually done the same before, in the rare situation where my opponent had 15 players and I had 380k.
The best case scenario is when your opponent would typically induce Bomber or Cindy. Inducing Morg puts the opposition in a bind to either cancel Morg (i.e. no Bomber) or go with an inferior collection of inducements.
In my very last match against baron-greenback, I was in that exact same situation. He and I even discussed my thought process while I was selecting inducements. However, in that particular game, I ultimately decided against any inducements.
The key rationale here is that money is a useless ressource for certain teams. Rather than have it stolen, you may as well use it to annoy your opponent.
[My money wasn't stolen after that last match, so I might try again.] |

To make Morg fair and balanced, he should have Claw. |
