First testroster .... see below for more ballanced ones.

http://plan.world-domination.org/fumbbl/experiments.html

Notes:

  • Pumpwagon seems fine - without Block/Tackle not too strong.
  • Skinks regularly DO NOT have right stuff. That is you only can use the ttm skill of Gorritazilla if you freeboot Akhor Kroxibitter as well.

Halfling Hot Pot 180K
M0 ST6 (Scolding Hot) AG1 (Big & Bulky) AV10 (Cast Iron)
TTM (Launched from the pot tosser), NOS (You have to have them to be a chef around a bunch of halflings at dinner time), Mighty Blow, Dirty Player (Soups ready!), Stand Firm
It would be much cooler as a bomb variant (without being able to rethrow) but that's not implemented yet and would require a recode too.

Doom Diver Catapult 100K
M2 ST2 AG AG3 AV8
TTM, Pass, HMP (if it can toss a gobbo why not the ball), Always Hungry (To reprsent a firing accident)
It would again be much coolder if HMP could work on TTM but that would require another recode and they both would probably deserve a penalty roll.

As Always,
Evolve To Stuntydom

Ok. That first test was a bit chaotic. We'll make race divided rosters that probably come closer to what it really is like.

Snotling roster: http://plan.world-domination.org/fumbbl/snotlingXs.html (note - overloaded on stars, of course)
Skink roster: http://plan.world-domination.org/fumbbl/skinkXs.html
Hafling roster: http://plan.world-domination.org/fumbbl/halflingXs.html

Changes:

--SnotlingXs--

  • Grit Smelly removed.
  • Bogi Dungbreath removed.
  • Hopabout Choppalot removed.
  • Ballzy Grabber removed.
  • Flicker Bolgrot removed.
  • Billy Bully removed.
  • Booger the Snotling loses Pro.
  • Shigbit Bearsnot reduced to ma4, st1, gains DP and Spikes.
  • Gishgash Longbomb gets Shadowing.
  • Added Doom Diver Catapult, loses Hail Mary Pass, gets Blunderbuss
  • Pumpwagon gets No Hands

--SkinkXs--

  • Gorritazilla keeps Pro, losses pass and all neg traits.
  • Mini Saurus loses all neg traits and pro - keeps mighty blow. Renamed to Minixorus, gets Thick Skull.
  • Sacrificial Dagger of Slaan gets Dodge and Prehensile Tail
  • Akhor Kroxbiter loses Shadowing and Strip Ball
  • Gormon Strength increased to 2

--HaflingXs--

  • Hot Pot keeps DP, gets Stand Firm, Nerves of Steel and Blunderbuss
  • Added Plucky Leadboot. Plucky gets a Pogo Stick.
  • Ebil Kenebil loses RSC and Two Heads, gets Mighty Blow.
  • Kai Chickenbrained loses Leader RR, agility drops to 1
  • Alfrodo strength lowered to two, gains 1 ma and sure hands. Renamed to Alfrodo Mezirnaught.
  • Monsieur Cusimano the Evil Baker added.

Needler
Skink
8 2 3 7 Stunty, Dodge, Prehensile Tail, Diving Tackle, Jump Up, [Tackle?]

Skiptail
Skink
9 2 4 7 Stunty, Dodge, Leap, Jump Up

Brother Bolambo
Halfling
5 2 3 6 Stunty, Dodge, Sidestep, Hail Mary Pass, Surehands
Brother Bolambo is afriad of flying, and more afraid of getting hit, but he's darn good at snagging the ball. One day when he was deep in the backfield, about to be run down by a pair of sweaty gobbos, he screamed a quick prayer to Lady Luck and cut loose a rocket that landed beyond the other end zone.

I have no idea for prices on these dudes, they're just a few thoughts i had during and after playing that game vs silver.

snotling test match
gorritakid v psikobunny

It bacame immediately apparent that my passing troll was far too powerful, 3-4 long bombs told us that.
-make Flicker ag2 (or even one- but 2 for now) and give him always hungry.

making stars with lots of skills that dont fit with the norms for that team type still bugs me. These Snots with Frenzy and Dauntless are right out imo. It will require a double check, but i am fairly sure no star player has skills that are not normally available to the teams they play for, for the most part.

Having access to two starsnots with MA6 isnt particularly fair either.

Reminders:
Snotling teams tend to have lots of cash on hand, prices should reflect this, or a coach could simply buy multiple stars per game.
Snotling stars may not deserve the benefits that regular snots get. I always felt snots got regen cos they could just grab one or two guys out of the stands to replace part of the pack. A highly trained starsnot shouldn't be as durable, if he goes out he should stay out unless his design calls for him to be tougher than nails or something.

Like i said after the halfling test, star players are the ultimate expression of that race, not walking collections of "that would be cool" skills. Look at some of the hi spp players on the best stunty teams, design your stars around them, maybe tweak them a bit to make them perfect.

I meant to add: Ripper the troll star should be added to the snotling roster choices

I didn't add more big guys to the snotling roster as I felt it was all to overloaded already. Having said that I kinda felt that a lot of them had to be removed or modified/combined with others - didn't touch that yet as we didn't test them at all before.

Without having played them, I think these should go:
-Booger the Snotling
-Bogi Dungbreath
-Grit Smelly
-Billy Bully
-Ballzy Grabber (see below)

Basically - no dauntless, no block - I don't see that fitting to the snots.

Modifications I think should be done:
-Snot Pumpwagon - reduce to ma4-ma5 ... we wanted it to have WA and Big Guy because it _really_ should be out of control, so no rr for that one.
-Hopabout Choppalot - still love the concept, but maybe he works better as a goblin - remove Chainsaw, add dagger and rename him?
-Shigbit Bearsnot - I think he is okay ... if the ma is dropped to the standard 4.
-Gishgash Longbomb - stays as he is but gets Shadowing (which Ballzy Grabber had)? I just like the idea of a ma4 shadower - it will fail unless you roll better than your opponent.

Doing that would reduce the number of stars to 5 instead of the 10 we have now, keeping mostly those that look not overly powerful but fun (which is all what snotlings are about anyway) to me - other thoughts?

Pump wagon

X 7 1 9

Multi Block, Block, Frenzy, Stand Firm, Mighty Blow

A pump wagon may only take a move action or a Blitz action. It may only move in a straight line and ignores tackle zones fo the purposes of dodging although the direction may be changed from turn to turn. The pump wagons movement is based on the enthusiasm of those pushing/pumping it. a 3+ must be rolled for each square of movement in addition the pump wagon can't be stopped until a roll of 1 or 2! if the pump wagon leaves the field roll a d6 on a 1 it zooms from the stadium and is never seen again on a 2-3 the wagon is ruined and may not be used for the rest of the game 4-5 the wagon crashes through the stands killing fans the wagon may be used on the next drive and the team using it loses 1 FF. 6 the wagon is parked neatly in the dugout and may be used next drive

Why can't Booger go? Just because you've been trash talking him up for the last three days? Defend your position with reason, and I'll listen, but until then, I agree with Mnemon. There is a reason the rules were changed to make a Dauntless Stunty impossible...
