About
I first played BloodBowl when it was the 2nd edition, though the actual edition is soooo much better!!! Moreover, I love the new LRB5 and I really hunger to see the java tool allowing online games with these new rules.

I also played online BloodBowl on a french website called France BloodBowl (www.francebloodbowl.com).

Here is a little philosophy on my playing style:

TURN TIME LIMIT
Most of the time, I don't use up all of my 4 minutes every turn, but when the situation becomes more complicated, I might take them all as I am allowed to do. So, if you hate it when your opponent takes more than 2 minutes per turn and that you can't stand it, then you might as well not play against me. ;o)

Consequently, I am not in a hurry when I play a game, so I usually don't bother much with a slow playing coach, as long as it doesn't become excessively long (i.e. when the turns systematically exceeds 4 minutes).

FOULING
Fouling is part of the game and the dirty player skill exists for a good reason. So, I foul to win a game, to get rid of a annoying player or to take the numerical advantage. The only thing that I don't do and that I really don't like is a Turn 16 foul that has no tactical purpose. In league or tounament, there could be a reason for doing that, but not in open-type ranked games. I'll keep a personal register of managers doing an untactical T16 foul on me and will eventually get my revenge. ;o)

CROWDPUSH
This is part of the game and each coach is responsible for managing the sides of the field. Some are just better than others in doing great chainpushes that can help getting opposing players out and even getting yourself the win. However, I play to win, so crowdpushing opposing players is a mean, not a necessity. I will not compromise a win in order to throw someone in the crowds. So, that being said, if you go near the sidelines, it's up to you to determine if it's worth the risk. I will do the same. :o)

STALLING
Once I really did not like stalling, but I noticed that the concept seems to be widespread on FUMBBL. So, since I expect to be stalled from times to times, I will then stall if I judge that it's worth doing it in order to get the win or to avoid being smashed on a T8 or T16 kickoff.

FUN
FUN: that's the most important thing in the game. I like to talk while playing, but if you don't talk, no problem, I'm just going to listen to some music while playing. I am relaxed and I don't whine when I get bad luck. This is just a game, so I prefer laughing at my badluck (or yours) rather than complaining. ;o)

CLAW / RAZOR SHARP CLAWS
The only time I played against a team featuring a Claw/RSC/Tackle/MultipleBlock player was with a High elf team. The game was almost over at halftime as I had 6 players left on the field and the game ended when I had 1 player left on the field. No need to say that this was a very boring and unbalanced game. So, I'm unlikely to play that crap again unless in leagues or tournaments or if I have a heavy team with a DP in it. ;o)

STAR PLAYERS KILLED DURING A GAME
In the first turn of a game between my vamps and a halfling team that had hired Deeproot Strongbranch, one of my human thralls made a foul on him on turn 1:

Arthur fouls Deeproot Strongbranch. (6, 3) +5
(6, 5) + 0, 6: Deeproot Strongbranch has been KILLED!!
IGMEOY Roll = 1
Waiting for opponent to decide to use apothecary.
No apothecary or not used.
