He ran in the laboratory, didn't wear his lab coat or goggles and was therefor deemed not fit to play with chemicals.

Someone broke the rules and was removed from the now 255 team draw.

the crime was sufficient that they were expelled form the cup rather than just being forfeitted.

There were quite a few teams that "prepared " in dodgy fashions. There are more than one team that SHOULD have been booted, but some where left in as their cases were borderline.

It would have been nice if the crime had just been sufficient for a forfeit... Think of all the chemicals I could have bought...
