1580TW Minor Accepting Applications



Minor 1580 TW

Tournament draw starts
22.00pm server time
Wednesday 29th April


Any Ranked or Box team with a TW of 1580 or less can apply Here.

This will be as many 16 team double elimination tournaments as we can draw with minimal byes. Teams will be accepted based on the highest TW at the deadline for applications. If there are more teams with the same TW than places available, the date and time of application will be used to separate the teams.

Each coach can send 1 team.

Due to there being more rounds in the losers bracket than the winners they will different round lengths.

TW stands for tournament weight and it is listed on your team page. It includes players missing the next game in its calculation.

Hurray for bringing the Minors back. Can't say the same for the double elimination format, I prefer the good old 'one and done'. If the reason is to attract more players why not have them more often than making them last forever. Last one started 21/2 and hasn't finished yet, that's 2 months for a 32-team tourney.

Thumbs up for double elim from me. I appreciate it can take a while, but ‘one and done’ doesn’t ever really feel satisfying for a BB tournament of any size. Might try and sling something in. :)
