I know this might make me look like the 'Bad Guy' and I havent read even half the thread that inspired Rentons post.. but heres my 2 cents on the whole ordeal;

Not a dig at any individual personal just a pearl drop of wisdom for everyone..

If people were less opinionated and and/or kept their opinions to themselves and even more so concentrated on the game this site is based around instead of arguing with, being spitful and judging others based on what they may have written in a forum thread or w/e the level of aggrovation would be ALOT less... ALSO if anybody was offended by the OP of said thread surely they could have reported it and maybe an admin could have dealt with it IF it was indead inappropriate and not a fit discussion for fumbbl.

We all know the majority of people who use this site are decent enough folk and I for one would encourage more diversity amoung the community but politics isnt why I come here, Blood Bowl is why I come here. Simplicity is King, and Silence is Golden.

I dont understand quitting playing an online java fantasy-based game because some people in the world, who also play it, have a disagreeable opinions on some subjects. It doesnt really correlate.

Thats applicable to every endeavor you undertake. Thats like quitting golf because George W Bush plays it too.

I love when people gloat about other people leaving a niche community. Regardless of feelings about why he's left, we should be sad he has as the site is less rich for him not being here. Same goes for anybody who stops playing.
