The Graeling Grizzlies: A Night at the Pub
"I just knew Ragnar would be a star, he's done so well so far." Urik hadn't stopped talking about good ol' Red since we had entered the pub, and the Bugman's Brew had only made him even more chatty about the star who he considered the physical manifestation of his scouting genius. "And do you see the way the guy throws a block? Only two games and a few practices and he's already taking them out like a pro. This guy's gonna be a legend, I tell you. A legend."

"If he survives long enough," I muse, more at myself than at Urik.

"And Vermundr, boy that guy packs a punch. I didn't realize he was that strong until I saw him out there today. He's something special too, boss." I took another sip, trying my best to block out my scout as he continued to give me information I was already quite aware of.

"Urik, there are a few things we need to discuss while you are still at least partially conscious." I knew he'd drink so heavily he'd forget this conversation by the end of the night and I'd have to repeat it all anyways, but I wanted to stop him from rambling about the players. "We did alright out there today, but there's always a chance of a game like our first happening again. I need you to scout out a few more recruits before the end of the month to have on the bench as backup. Doesn't need to be anything special, just good work ethic."

"Can do, boss. What else do you need to talk about?"

"Season ticket sales. They've gone up. Which is wonderful but causes a few problems. First of which is, it means we're going to need a stadium built with more than just crappy bleachers. Secondly, it means more money which means more math, and I hate math. I need you to find someone who can handle the money around here."

"Like an accountant?"

"Precisely. But preferably not one who wears suits. I hate suits."
