Get Well Kevin Everett
First week of the NHL was great. The Pats killed the Jets, the Titans won and many more exciting great games and performances.

However, a dark moment in the Bills game, as a player was sent to hospital and underwent emergency cervical spinal surgery. Looks like he may walk (with limits) again, but his playing career is over.

Puts things into perspective and just how violent the collisions are in the NFL. Bo Jackson, Priest Holmes, DE for the Jets in the 90's, now Kevin all received career ending injuries from hits suffered on the field. Now with the rise of conscussions and PCS suffered by former players, I don't blame vets for holding out and wanting to make as much money as their short careers allow.

Get well, Kevin!
