A first legend blog entry
In the 70th game of the Sons of Brutus the #1 active human catcher in the box reached legendary status.
He has survived 55 games in the box, rushed 801 yards, scored 41 touchdowns, 2 intercepts and only one casulty. As his reputation grew so did his ego, and he has been denying any other SoB access to the team apothecary for the last 10 games. So like all other legends before him, he's built his success on the broken bodies of his team mates.
Thank you to all the coaches I played against in getting to the point of having my first legendary player. You've blocked hard, crowdsurfed, and fouled him without mercy, for which his fallen comrades will be eternally grateful.
Next time we play, and you find him at your feet, go ahead and put the boot in, kick away, just Knot Theface.

Glad to see that he made it!
When I met him, I recall that you allowed the death of a 3-skill blitzer, a +ST lineman, and another lineman, so that the Apo would be ready for him!
Never did use it, though.... hehe... gratz!

Well, in the 5 games since we played another rookie lino, a rookie blitzer, and a +ST Blitzer were sacrificed, not to mention a couple of permanent injuries to other rookie lino's.
Was it worth it? Probably not to anyone else, however it was fun. Now to get the TV above 1600 and play a few more games for the end of the Human League Premiership.
