8 cas is weak.

and yes, claw has downgraded Orcs, but also Dorfs (which makes everything alright) :)

you need PO/MB on orcs too, and some DP lineos to lay some boot on the claw/POMBs. fight fire with fire.

Orcs can take apart a clawpomb team if you hit them hard early and often and get up in numbers.

and King G is right. Poor orc build. Tackle on a MB Blitzer? Not in this brave new world of Claw. You need PO. MB then PO is the Orc blitzer game these days. You need at least two MB PO Blitzers.

And where the hell are your 6 or 7 guards? Come on, that is the Orc power strategy.

It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but generally, you need to be prepared for what you're likely to see at that TV range. Likely: chaos and nurgle teams with Claw. Less likely: lots of elves and dodgy things.

Orcs CAN stand up to claw teams, as can dwarfs; it's just a tough match-up. Both are at a disadvantage in damage, and if they're going to survive, it's by getting cas earlier in the game (usually by receiving first and getting a little lucky) and by having more Guard. Orcs are more likely than dwarfs to be carrying a DP or two, so laying into some grounding PO guys is a great help, too.

@Koadah...I barely had the ball. He just kept hurting everyone!! :) I had 3 players on the pitch mid-way through the 2nd half. It was a massacre.

I fully agree with getting Guard, believe it or not I have never taken Guard in close to 200 games!! :S

I defend getting tackle as it has been very useful to have, however perhaps I should be getting P.O. I have been trying to avoid getting it as I think it lacks a little class, however "Fire with Fire" as you say.

All said the teams record is pretty good and we've won 70% of our last games which is good for me! :D

TO ADD TO THE PAIN:

I replaced the dead troll.
We immediately got another BB game against some Dwarves.
They won the toss.
They received the ball.
Hit new Troll.
Troll Died.
Troll did not regenerate.
New Troll literally lasted 8 mins from being bought to dying.

Well to use your analogy Pythrr up until this game I had never been in a "Gun-Fight" and have never seen a "Gun" before.

As the title suggests this is the first time I've encountered such a ClawPoMb team. Yes I was totally unprepared for it, but very little of what you said is relevant.

And Whatball... you only know it's devastating capabilities when you play against it for the 1st time... which for me was today.
