This is the 2nd part of the update, that I mentioned was coming soon. And covering some potentially controversial stuff here.

So first of all

Changes to teams

Pygmies -
When Pygmies were originally released in the 80s the models were very cartoon like and pretty offensive, they were discontinued pretty quickly after their release. Though they remained part of the Warhammer world and were occasionally referenced in Black library novels and army books and so on. Though using this name has always been a little uncomfortable for some people; because even though their background is fine now it does still conjure up thoughts of that original release by GW.

In terms of the icon art and player picture art design I went with the Inca themes that pygmies adopted in their lore post 4th Edition Warhammer as I felt it was much more tastefully done. However I was unaware of their name change that happened further down the line in the game Warmaster, in which they changed from Pygmies to Forest Halflings. Though the game never clarified how Halflings came to live in this part of the world (which is of little importance) the rest of their lore remained in line with the inca themed Pygmies lore post 4th edition. Basically the now named Forest Halflings adopted the Lizardmen Culture.

So I too have moved away from the name Pygmies, so there is no real reference to that offensive model line, and Pygmy teams will now be called Forest Halflings.
On top of the name change there have been a few small adjustments to the roster. The whole teams Ma has been reduced by 1. This was done because it is currently too easy to move your team through the opposition ranks because of the blanked Stunty Ag4. A reduction from Ma6 to MA5 is a big change the teams ability to move anywhere they want quite so easily. Also this puts their Ma in line with Halflings who they are distant relatives of.

Some of the players also received an Av reduction, again pushng them more in line with Halflings, but also as a result of play testing there were too often game when the Forest Halflings did not drop in number in the way they were supposed to.

Sisters of Sigmar -
The Sister Superior lose Stand Firm, and gain Fend.
This was a tough decision and done with something of a heavy heart, but currently Sos are dominating too much at Low TV and they are a very NPE for their opposition. The combination of Av9 Block and SF just gave them too much pitch control at low TV. Fend should mean they are possibly free to move around a little more than they were previously, but they will not longer be quite so oppressive to play against, and they should theoretically now be throwing less blocks each turn as there will be less opposing players stuck in their TZs each turn.
