Fishchester United Spirited Survivors
7 matches ago, catastrophe struck the budding Fishchester United squad. In a match against Hueter Der Haine, 2 players were killed, and another was permanently injured. This tragic match left Fishchester in a bad place. Beta Ray Van Nistelrooy was unfortunately forced to retire a few matches early, and rookie blitzer Lamprey Pallister was cut down in her prime. In addition to the crippling injuries suffered, Snow Crab Bruce was gone for 4 weeks on a bender..

Van Der Starfish, the team’s most veteran player, was trying his best to keep things in order on the home front, but with only 4 players healthy enough to take the pitch, the morale of the team hit rock bottom.

Finally Snow Crab returned, and the Fish battled through the elements in 3 of the toughest games they could ask for. 4 matches after the disaster, Fishchester was still fielding a below-strength roster, but soldiered on, turning a game against Diablotins Verts into a 3-2 win. Finally on a bit of an upswing, the Fish went on to win against Dogs Will Die! 2-1. Snow Crab Bruce lent a big hand to Fishchester on both sides of the ball, which has earned her a lot of extra attention, both from opposing players seeking to put her pitch dominance to a stop, and the media. She appeared on the cover of Spike! Magazine as ‘All-Rounder of The Month.’

It's just a shame that the typical blood bowl fan wouldn't pay half a gold piece to see a female blood bowl player in "full gear".

Although they lost their most recent match with Ratzingerz Todezfeinde 2-3, The Fish showed serious signs of wanting to return to full strength.

Catcher Van Der Starfish threw 1 dump-off completion, and is making life seriously difficult for opposing blockers.

With much of the Fish’s blocking power lost during the rash of injuries, catcher Sting Raymos has become quite the blitzer. Not being particularly versed in the more brutal aspects of the game, she has taken to using an interesting slide- tackling method against opposing players.

It may have taken her a few games to perfect her form, but she seems to have figured it out, her first 3 casualties being RIPS.

Thanks to Fish Fans, for staying with us!

Even though they are based around a certain sports team who get beaten by footballing giants such as Burnley, I have given this a 6.

I reckon they'd look a lot better if you got rid of the black chevron and replace it with a nice white horizontal strip across the middle.

Awesome pics. Keep 'em up. :D
