Fixing (Gnome) Ubuntu + FFB
Several years ago I described how to remove the bar covering the chat box from the client when running FFB:

https://fumbbl.com/p/blog&c=Grod&id=9362

In recent versions of Ubuntu, this does not work precisely as described because you can't assign a custom command to jnlp files in the same way. The solution is as follows:

1. Repeat steps 1-4 as described in my old blog article https://fumbbl.com/p/blog&c=Grod&id=9362
2. Follow the instructions described by IraGainesUK in the article http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2032083 to assign the script you made from following steps 1-4 in my old blog to Java Web Start type programs.

If this is too technical or you have any trouble please let me know. Happy Fumbbling Ubuntu users!

I've posted a fix in the GNOME topic on the forum: just open ccsm and force a window resize for jave and voilĂ . ;)

More accurately: ccsm -> Window Rules -> Size Rules -> New entry:

(class=net-sourceforge-jnlp-runtime-Boot | class=com-sun-javaws-Main) & !(type=Dialog)
Width: 1014
Height: 780

Wait, this is a blog on fixing gnomes, but it doesn't mention squig slayers OR bombers. Confusing!

Well I'm drunk anyways - my fix is for Ubuntu with Unity, not with GNOME 3. ;)
