This is What We Learn on FUMBBL...
Well, I'm about six months in now, so I am still a total noob compared to most of you - heck, even your fake accounts have been here longer - so I thought I would post the common things I have learned in the last six months. No, not the basic strategy crap like "do the least risky things first", but the "important" things that enhance the community experience. The things that are beat into your head over and over until they become obvious truths.
Here is a list fot hings I have been told to help me improve my game, or perhaps, just give me a better perspective in general:
"That's why it's called BLOOD Bowl"
"That's why they put the foul icon there"
"Nuffle hates me more than you"
"You need more Dirty Players"
"You are a liar, you do not have a real life"
"HA, I just read your bio... here's T16 foul anyway"
"You can't add a Star Player... I don't want to play you anymore" (This one is best when imagining a crying baby)
"No Thanks"
"No Thanks"
"No Thanks"
"Retire your player"
"Retire your team"
and of course... "Pie"

I especially like the "no thanks"... Maybe you should consider playing League and Blockbox instead of Ranked. Less cherrypicking and more fun IMO :)

However you are missing two important things:
- "" (no reply to your repeated pms)
- there's always someone who thinks they can be cleverer than you :P
I've learnt not to feel guilty about other people's pixels dying but rather to revel in it :) [letting go of my own pixels was much easier ;)]

Sneaking a star player in is a perfectly valid tactic. But if someone notices you trying before connecting, it's equally valid to bail out and laugh at whomever just wasted a ton of gold trying to be clever. :)
