Hippies 69 at WO part 2
Hooooooo!
Today my Hippies won their second game in WO qualifiers! I played against Sinkder..
In the first half my team took a beating but a fiercly defended and managed to strip the ball off the hands of the opposite team and score in turn 8.
Then in the second half I started on offence and managed to score again. Then a lightning bolt from my wizard allowed me to score again because Quinn left his ball carrier all alone in the backfield. 4-0 score was made in the last turn because the ball carrier failed to pick up the ball.
Another exciting game in the tournamet. During the first half the game it seemed to go against me, but my scoring changed the game to my favour. Next game is also (most likely) against an opponent in 1900+TV. Can the underdogs take yet another victory? Stay tuned!

It was a very slow and boring match. If you are looking for a fan following, the score can't be the most interesting part of your game. You were timed out 2 times that I saw. It was like swimming the English Channel. Sure there is a point to the madness, but there are quicker and more efficient ways to get to France.

grats on the win. But i will say that if you arent better with your positioning next match, you wont be so lucky. Some of the things that went your way in that game were just luck. Like your 1d blitz on the ball carrier through 4 tackle zones where you not only didnt roll a skull but you knocked him down and picked up the ball. And the spell actually working and knocking out the player was lucky too.

Yes I have to admit that luck played a big role in both of my games so far. I usually play quicker turns but I have started to play,I think, more focused than before so thats why my turns were quite long. I'll try to play faster in the next round for the spectators :)
