Passing Teams
It seems I've found myself loosing my rag (once or twice) with passing/agility teams, my Elves can dodge into 3 Tackle zones but ask him to dodge into none and he takes it personally and falls over usually hurting himself (is anyone else reminded of professional footballers when i say that? :S) I had a player fall over and Die a while back, i'm like...its grass, how do u die falling over on GRASS!! Idiot! if you wern;t dead i'd retire you, and not even to a coach, I don;t need you coaching my other players on "how to fall over" Personally i think there just scared...

So i'm returning to playing good old break your face teams, teams that are forced to say "I'm sorry did you want that arm, here allow me to beat you over the head with it" (though most usually say Durh! or Whats this? the ball you goon!!) ha

I may give good old Orcs a dust off and do some beating, though knowing my luck this will not go my way either ha :P

"losing your rag"?

Haha!
Can't handle the heat, so back to Orcs? :-P
In all seriousness though, that's the curse of Ag4, which tends to strike anyone who plays elves for any length of time.

It taunts you. You think "I can go anywhere, I'm an ELF!". It actually turns out that elves are only 17% more likely to make a dodge than your average orc lineman (30% if they have Dodge and the orc doesn't).

Dodging is still a risky move, even on 2+. It makes you MUCH better at desperation and semi-desperation plays, but it's still risky.

AG4 is much less reliable than Block. Teams that rely on 2db's with block are only 1/36 to need a reroll (per block), and 1/1296 to quad-skull. Dodging is like making 1db blocks - AG3 if you don't have Block, AG4 if you do.

If you think they're falling on just grass, you either don't own the board game, or haven't looked at it closely. The field is littered with broken glass, etc. Falling on that is risky business!
