Well it's been a little over a year since I've played some good old blood bowl. I just started back last week. Finally have some free time to play again at a respectable rate. I've also come back with a much better attitude to play with as well. I am personally not worrying about good players anymore and just think of them as little pixels that if they die or get maimed they just weren't good enough to make it. To show this point here's a game I played last week were I lost a pretty good wight that was 7 ma and 4 agi:

it didn't bother me in the least and I was really able to just enjoy the game and that was really pleasant for me and my opponent who I think did feel a little bad about killing the wight but I told him no biggie.
I know I won that game but it had what I would have thought was a pretty high cost with the lost of the good wight but really it just keeps my TR/TS down and increases the odds of adding FF and more cash. Also for an extra kicker in that game my mummy age niggled on the second skill but again no big deal retired him and will buy a second mummy after my next game will mean I should get an easier time for someone to play me with just one mummy :)
So taking a year a off really help put things in proper perspective for me and that means that if you are going to spend a lot of time on a hobby whether it's blood bowl or fishing you should be having fun doing it or find a new hobby or game to enjoy.
