Lager Larry Lives to Legend
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=9105181

ST7, Block, Multiblock, Break Tackle, -ma, niggle, -av

....and rolls a double for his legend skill.

Two questions: Should he get a potion? I was thinking to wait and see how team develops but it's coming on nicely. I'm not too precious about using it 'competetively' either.

What skill? Tackle is best imo, assuming he does not get potioned. It has the best synergy with Multi-Block (I considered Diving Tackle but not great with M-B).

I think if he gets the potion, Sure Hands or Dodge for ultimate ball carrying fun would be good....BUT... I have the rest of the team to develop, and so need them scoring the td's especially the MA7 guy, who will be great if he gets a double next roll.

Anything I have not considered? I'm thinking Tackle is the way to go, potion or not.

I would take dodge.

I'm with Burn here. Dodge on him.

The question of the potion is one only you can answer. He is a very special player indeed, but some would prefer to save their potion(s) until needed to cure a MNG player for a tourney final or something like that.

With strength 7 and Break Tackle, he is a very mobile player (for an Ogre team) and so Dodge would make a nice addition to that skill set. It also makes getting him down for your opponents a bit more difficult.

This is the kind of player I would burn a potion on. I wouldn't use it yet. I'd wait until he gets hurt again then use it. He is still valuable as a player as is.

Hard choice for the skill on a doubles. Diving tackle would be very useful as many people don't want to stand near him. Mind you it would be better if he had grab, to go along with the Multiblock, for that to work out better. Dodge would be an easy and very useful choice. Sidestep would be different and irritating. I think Tackle is the Best Choice.

Normal Skill would be grab.

I think he deserves a potion at some point :)

The thing is–– even throwing a 2D block against a ST7 player is incredibly difficult. Dodge is a decent choice, but only because of Break Tackle. On the other hand, he's not the ball carrier, so it won't be useful for running the ball... so it's mostly cage-breaking it will be good for. But if that is his role, then Tackle would be preferable... except you already have a tackler. These choices all seem sub-optimal.

I would go with Pro. Every time this guy goes Bone-Head, you are losing 310k+ from the pitch. Pro nearly cuts this in half, and also helps with blocks, catches, GFIs and dodges.

And definitely don't use a potion until he gets –ST or more -AV. This guy doesn't look like he suffers very many armor rolls...

Good points. Yeah he rarely even gets blocked, let alone knocked down. Like a Tree, the opposition just tend to want to avoid him. So if I make a decison and rule him out as a future ball carrier, I'm left with Tackle and Pro realistically. And your right cameron, I already have a tackler, but i'd still like another (especially one that can 3d block unassisted). However, he is so much easier to avoid when he's bonehead, obviously, so pro would be the wise choice. I'll mull it over a bit more I think.

@jimmy: lolz

[most fun choice is dodge+potion, for St7 Blodge ball carrier. 'Come at me bro']

Potion worthy but wait until he gets another niggle or a -ST.

I'd take pro but tackle is solid too.

Gone with Pro and decided to hold off on potion for now
thanks all
