Blatant publicity stunt.

If they just sent biscuits to the local children's hospital, it would barely get any publicity. Now it is a major news headline and everybody will know.

As the coach of C is for cookie! i have a statement about this story.

Cookie got bored while waiting for the main event of WO. When he heard about a golden cookie, he left the team with the only note saying he would be back for the main draw.

Hopefully the golden cookie have given him the strength to win it all!
